So, why is it disable in the Mywarebytes report?

From what I've read, these are extremely bad news if you have one. As
I understand it, a rootkit is a piece (or multiple pieces) of software
which can be hidden and allow a hacker access to your entire system.
Someone on here may have a better explanation, but from the very brief
reading I did, that seems to be what a rootkit is.

it may be that the report is not reporting it's status correctly, but if it 
is enabled in MB, I wouldn't worry.

I was just wondering because when I do a scan I can see it scanning for 
rootkit but never finds any.
