Re: [JAWS-Users] turn in line adds off
Turn it to, "suppress all refreshing", in DEFAULT Settings Center | Web / PDF's. Ultimately there is an off JAWS solution, but if you implement it the page might not read in Google Chrome at all. The free program AdBlock Plus - https://adblockplus.org/ >, and pick the version appropriate to your desired browser. -Original Message- From: Lenny McHugh Sent: Sunday, May 14, 2017 3:45 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] turn in line adds off I set it to as needed with no success. Re: [JAWS-Users] turn in line adds off
I can not even test it. I made the change as you suggested. I suppose that it did mute the adds. The bigger problem is that it continually reads photo and a headline link. It goes through every link when I try to go to a story it starts over. I am using the latest jaws 18 with a win 7 machine. I was hoping to get away from I.E. -Original Message- From: Flor Lynch Sent: Saturday, May 13, 2017 10:41 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] turn in line adds off Lenny, 'Ignore Inline Frames' checkbox is by default not checked.
