Mike, thanks for the heads up. I guess since my beta checkbox is not
checked, when I get upgraded to 2015 or above, that means the bugs have been
worked out, right?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Vipre 2014 Stopping It From Updating To 2015 Steps

Hi All,

I've used these steps with XP / Windows7 Jaws 13 thru 15. For those
running Vipre security follow these steps so Vipre will continue to be
accessible until the bugs are fixed with Vipre 2015. To stop Vipre 2014
from updating to the inaccessible 2015 version do the following:
1. Open VIPRE.
2. Press, Alt + H, to open the Help menu or, press the, Alt key, right or
left arrow to the Help menu.
3. Arrow down to, Support Tools, press enter.
4. Tab to the, Install beta updates check box and uncheck it ifthe it's
checked.
5. Tab to apply, press spacebar, tab to okay press enter to save / close.

This has been verified by Vipre tech support. They are aware that Vipre
2015 is not accessible for the blind and are working on fixing it. In the
mean time Vipre 2014 will continue to work receive definition updates.
HTH
Take care.

Hi Mario,

I don't know how or when we will be notified about Vipre 2015 becoming
accessible. You can email their tech support at the address below to ask
them, that's what I plan on doing every so often. The more people that
complain ask questions about Vipre being not accessible might speed them
up, especially if people suggest they want refunds are switching to other
security companies.
