Hi Tom,
You should be good with IE11 and JAWS17. IE11 is the current version.

Folks,

Anyone have different results...
JAWS 16 will not read the number of selected item out of total number of
available items in the combo-box.

Here is the code:

Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and IE 11

2014-09-18 Thread Rose Combs
No I have not had that problem but I have Jaws 15 and 16 and IE 11 on my
computer, I went to my insurance site to collect a message and it tells me
best viewed with IE 8 and above, well I have 11 and can't backtrack on this
computer, certainly is 8 or above? I wanted to read a policy that they tell
me is not online and that is an annoyance.

Hi all.
Just curious if anyone else using JAWS 15 and IE 11 and who use the wells
Fargo bank web site have suddenly begun having problems with the Bank
website? Yesterday when I went to the site, JAWS started reading, but when
I tried to use the up and down arrows, there was nothing. Even in JAWS
review mode, JAWS saw nothing. It's like the old days when occasionally you
would go to a web site and JAWS would say, no links. I did a repair on
JAWS, but no change. FS is working on this problem. Just wondering if
anyone else had experienced the same thing. Two interesting points: NVDA
sees the web site fine. Trying Fire Fox today enabled JAWS to work ok.

This has been reported by several customers in the past day or so. We are
reaching out to Wells Fargo to see what they've changed and what we can do to
assist in solving the issue.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and IE 11

2014-02-28 Thread John R Vaughn
I use IE 11 with both Jaws 14 and 15 on a windows 7 and 64 bit system.
I find IE11 more responsive than either IE 10 as well as compared to IE9,
which I use on a Vista machine). I wish I could use IE 11 with Vista but
there is not an IE 11 version that works with Vista.
Only issue with IE 11 is that my BankAmerica investment account trading site
does not work with IE11, despite attempted help from B of A. So I just use
Mozilla Firefox when I need to make trades.
Other than that, I really find IE 11 so very responsive and almost never
does the computer crash with IE 11.
