Re: [JAWS-Users] saving pictures with jaws

2016-07-22 Thread Teresa Arroyo Llosa

Hello Tom,

If you are using windows live mail do the following,

1. Having the message oppend, where the file is attached, back tab once o
twice until you hear the file's name, probably img with numbers or file name
if the picture has been name.
2. Once on the name, open the context menue by the application key or shift
F10, probably you find find your self in the message tab. Left or right
arrow to the option menu.

3. In the option menu, arrow down to safe sub-menu and press enter.
4. You will find two options, save as file or save as attachment. Press
enter on save as attachment.
5. From there brwose to where you want to save the file and press enter. You
don't need to open the attached file to be able to save it.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Teresa Arroyo Llosa

Re: [JAWS-Users] saving pictures with jaws

2016-07-22 Thread Bissett, Tom
Then you need to download the image [picture] to your pc. There is a couple
of buttons such as save, scan and save or view in browser at the bottom of the
email. When composing an email and you wish to send the picture you can use
the attach functions at is just above the email body. I do not habve gmail in
front of me so I can't tell you exactly what it says but you can use the browse
button and it will open a standard dialogue with which you can choose the
picture you want to send and attach it to the email.

Re: [JAWS-Users] saving pictures with jaws

2016-07-22 Thread Tom Clary
thank you, but as I said, this post was in reference to saving a
picture, which unlike a word document, there's no way to know if it's
open. maybe I should have asked my question differently

Hi Tom,
All I do to save an attachment is
1, When the email is open
2, shift tab to the attachment
3, right arrow once
4, ctrl c to copy the attachment
5, paste it where you want
Hope this helps
Patti
