Re: [JBoss-dev] Final 3.0 beta will happen this week
Hi Luke Sonner or later the "admin" stuff will be replaced by JSR-77 implementation because it delivers more performance infor- mation than just the Bean Cache. We could adjust the client to work with JSR-77 later on because I would like to have a graph for several performance information like memory, caches, pools etc. Have fun - Andy BTW I used the admin stuff on JBoss 2.4.x but it was a pain to make it work. I think JBoss 3.0 should work better but ask Juha about it. - Original Message - From: "Luke Taylor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 3:23 PM Subject: Re: [JBoss-dev] Final 3.0 beta will happen this week > Scott M Stark wrote: > > Its all junk as far as I'm concerned. Re: [JBoss-dev] Final 3.0 beta will happen this week
Something we might want to look at before the release is the *.bat files in the /bin directory. As far as I can tell, only the run.bat and shutdown.bat work. Are the other bat files supposed to work??? Do thier *.sh coutner parts work?? I have been maintaining the run.sh/bat & shutdown.sh/bat files... can't say about the rest though... --jason Scott M Stark wrote: >Its all junk as far as I'm concerned. [JBoss-dev] Final 3.0 beta will happen this week
At the end of the week I will make the final 3.0 beta release. This will be done off of a 3.0 branch. All changes that need to be in for the 3.0 release must be ready by Friday 2002-04-12. All current testsuite errors should be cleaned up as there will not be a final release until the testsuite runs cleanly.
