RE: [JBoss-dev] cluster-wide logging
Hello, Yes, sure, your crusadish idea is good but, I have read log4j documentation and, somehow, we already have cluster-wide logging: log4j already has, out of the box, plenty of Appenders. They even have a JMS appender (written by someone that has already posted on jboss-dev: Ceki Gülcü). So I don't think this is a huge priority task ;) Cheers, Sacha Another case... what about a log4j EJB logger that logs centrally, the CMP engine can be something as simple as a file writter or as fancy as a JDBC writter so you can plug in what you want for the persistence. So for the price of writing the EJB logger we have the cluster wide logging for free with pluggable persistence I feel crusadish this week ___ Jboss-development mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-development

[JBoss-dev] cluster-wide logging
Hello, How do you feel cluster-wide logging? We could imagine a JMX listener that subscribe to the JMX services of all member of a cluster and log them. We could also imagine that each node in a cluster is able to build the cluster-wide log. Experiences? comments? ___ Jboss-development mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-development
