Re: [JBoss-user] CAN IT BE DONE? deploy for all ORION,JBOSS-TOMCAT-JETTY
I have forwarded this stacktrace to Greg (Jetty author), Jetty problems are probably best cross-posted to the Jetty user list http://jetty.mortbay.com/jetty/mailingLists.html Thanks for your comments, Jules (jboss_jetty maintainer) Lac Sanh La wrote: > Hi Micheal, > > The problem I have is that JETTY does not to support resource-ref, > env-entry, and ejb-ref. > Jetty does not also show [Auto deploy] Binding like TOMCAT is that > correct? > > - errors during deployment -- > > [Jetty] Missing servlet-class in > webTierEntryPoint et-name>centralJspno > description ription>Main.jsp > [Jetty] No such servlet: webTierEntryPoint > [Jetty] Not implemented: resource-ref > [Jetty] no > descriptionEOr > dersDataSourcejavax.sql.DataSource es-auth> > Container > [Jetty] Unknown user-data-constraint:NO DESCRIPTIONNONE > [Jetty] Not implemented: env-entry > [Jetty] no > descriptionserv > erTypeJBoss PRE 2.1 > (www.jboss.org) -value>java.lang.String > [Jetty] Not implemented: env-entry > [Jetty] no > descriptionsecu > rityAdapterClassNameau.com.bmsoft.webo > rders.ut > il.J2eeSecurityAdapterjava.lang.String > try-type> > [Jetty] Not implemented: ejb-ref > [Jetty] no > descriptionejb/stoc > kSessionau.com.bmsoft. > weborder > s.stock.ejb.StockHomeau.com.bmsoft.weborders.stock.ejb.St > ock ote> > > . > ... > > -Original Message----- > From: Micheal J [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, 27 March 2001 2:50 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: [JBoss-user] CAN IT BE DONE? deploy for all > ORION,JBOSS-TOMCAT-JETTY > > What problems have you encountered with JBoss-Jetty Lac? > > Micheal > > PS It would be great if you could post some notes on your work with > JBoss-Tomcat and JBoss-Jetty to the group. Please specify what you mean by 'does not also show [Auto deploy] Binding like TOMCAT'... jboss_jetty should deploy webapps in just the same way jboss_tomcat does, via the J2EE deployer, whether the deployment is 'auto' or via the JMX interface. If this is not the case, or there is some sort of other missing functionality, please let me know ASAP, otherwise I won't know to put it in ! RE: [JBoss-user] CAN IT BE DONE? deploy for all ORION,JBOSS-TOMCAT-JETTY
Looks like something I should investigate. Could you give me a little bit more about these features. What are they ? Where can I find them documented ? etc.. I will see if we can get them put in ASAP if they are not there already.
