Completion problem - Select a class to import
Hello All, A month ago I reported a bug that happens when there are multiple classes that can be imported during completion. That is, lets say I am trying to get methods for Vector and it is not in the import list. JDEE prompts to import the class. Since there are multiple possible classes to import, list is displayed and after I select one, I am again prompted to select a class to import eventhough the class has just been imported. This only happens when there are mulitple choices to import and in Emacs not Xemacs. So my question is how can I turn off importing during completion? Jeba __ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Re: IPlanet serverside debugging?
We can't control how it starts, but we still might be able to connect to the running process. You should be able to control how iAS starts jvm's e.g. see http://docs.sun.com/source/816-7149-10/dgdebug.html#25712

Last I checked, Sun had purged their webserver of references to old iPlanet documentation, or at least made it hard to find.
RE: JDEE 2.3.2 on XEmacs 21.1.14?
Does anyone here know whether JDEE 2.3.2 (the latest) is compatible with XEmacs 21.1.14? I recommend you use the 21.4.x series, especially if you are running on windows. I am using it with 21.4.6 and 21.4.9. You will have to upgrade the packages from the JDE website, but I think it should work fine. 2.3.2 is in the current XEmacs packages so you should not have to upgrade. andy
build jde from cvs
Hi! I tried to build jde from cvs, but did not succeed. What I did was: 1. Checked out jde. 2. Changed vars in makefile: DRIVE, DEVDIR 3. Ran make. It comlained: make distributable1 \ -C ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/.. \ -f ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/jde/makefile make[1]: Entering directory `/home/boyan/test' rm -rf ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/distrib/zip/jde-2.2.7beta2 mkdir ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/distrib/zip/jde-2.2.7beta2 mkdir ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/distrib/zip/jde-2.2.7beta2/lisp cp -r ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/jde/lisp/jde.el ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/distrib/zip/jde-2.2.7beta2/lisp/jde.el ... cp -r ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/jde/lisp/setnu.el ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/distrib/zip/jde-2.2.7beta2/lisp cp -r ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/jde/lisp/senator.el ///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/distrib/zip/jde-2.2.7beta2/lisp cp: cannot stat `///home/boyan/test/jde_dev/jde/lisp/senator.el': No such file or directory Should I expect to cleanly build from cvs? Other questions I have: - Is it ok to use the checked out version to develelop java code, or I need two installations of jde. How do I switch them? - Are there any additional tasks when building for xemacs? - do I need to run make targets other that the default? in order to have a working jde. - does anyone use [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list? __ Do you Yahoo!?
