Thank you Mark.

No we have not submitted any pull requests yet. Surely we can start with
them.

Thanks again. Looking forward to contribute to the Jenkins community.

Himanshu

Re: Request to adopt a plugin

2020-10-01 Thread Mark Waite
Thanks to you and Deepika for your willingness to help. That's great!

We usually prefer that those adopting a plugin have submitted pull requests
to the plugin prior to adopting it. Have you previously submitted pull
requests to the plugin? If not, would you be willing to start with pull
requests?

To others, I've worked with Himanshu and Deepika on Jenkins training.
I'm +1 to allow them to adopt the plugin but would love to have support
from others that are willing to assist them while they work on the plugin.

Re: Adoption of the priority sorter jenkins plugin.

2020-10-01 Thread Oleg Nenashev
Hi Frank,

Thanks a lot for your interest! As a former "maintainer" of this plugin (I
was rather reviewing and integrating pull requests), I would be happy to
see if somebody takes ownership of the plugin.
I will do my best to help with the reviews of the current pull request, and
I am +1 for starting the ownership transition.

Please submit a pull request
to
https://github.com/jenkins-infra/repository-permissions-updater/blob/master/permissions/plugin-release.yml

once you are ready

Best regards,
Oleg

Recording of the Sep 30 governance meeting is now available here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAp1rE4wlFA. At this meeting we discussed
the recent news (Hacktoberfest, DevOps World, upcoming cdCon, etc.), the
ongoing 2020 Governance Board and Officer elections in the project, changes
in officer role definitions, and terminology changes. We also had updates
on Artifactory costs reduction and on the deprecated FFIS donations flow.
Next meeting will happen on Oct 07.

 Hi all

Just an update to let you know that you can now re-run failed builds
 via GitHub checks on ci.jenkins.io.
(Only maintainers, i.e. write access can do this, authors need to push
a code change or close / reopen)

This is made possible with the GitHub checks plugin
, by Kezhi as part of GSoC.

See Kezhi's blog post for more details:
 https://www.jenkins.io/blog/2020/08/31/github-checks-api-plugin-coding-phase-3/

 Thanks
