Jenkins Board and Officer Elections 2022

2022-11-03 Thread Alyssa Tong
Hi All,

Reference this post
 for
the full detail.

The Jenkins board and officer elections has begun.
Up for elections are two governance board
 positions, and all five officer
 positions (Security, Events,
Release, Infrastructure, and Documentation).

We invite community members to nominate candidates by sending a message to
the election-committee
 group.
Nomination is currently open, and will end on November 10.

If you've contributed at least 1 time to Jenkins prior to September 1, 2022,
you're eligible to vote. All contributions count for eligibility! If you've
helped others with Jenkins, tested Jenkins, documented Jenkins, reviewed
the changes of others, or made changes yourself, you're eligible to vote. We
ask all community members who are interested in voting, and meet the
requirements, to join the election-voter-2022
 group on
community.jenkins.io during the registration period. Voter registration is
open and will end on November 17.

Thanks,
Kevin Martens

Re: JDK 11.0.17+8

2022-11-03 Thread Damien Duportal
For information, we have triggered the deployment of these new JDK11 and
JDK17 versions in https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins-infra/pull/2463
for agents, and https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins-infra/pull/2455 +
https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins-infra/pull/2456 for
ci.jenkins.io's tools.

We're going to open an issue to track the work on providing a "edge
version" of these tools. Thanks a lot!
