Title: Message Title Daniel Majano edited a comment on JENKINS-50196 Re: Jenkins Kubernetes plugin - Running a sequence of podTemplate with inheritFrom I'm facing the same issue. The second pod is inheriting the template from the first slave generated:{color:#d04437}template=PodTemplate{inheritFrom='jenkins-slave-77qj1', name='jenkins-slave-jx3qq'{color} Please could [~csanchez] check this? This would be very helpful for me and other people!! [JIRA] (JENKINS-49821) Error pod provisioning (Not found: "workspace-volume") when the configuration is made using the gui
Title: Message Title Daniel Majano edited a comment on JENKINS-49821 Re: Error pod provisioning (Not found: "workspace-volume") when the configuration is made using the gui Hi [~csanchez], Could you haven seen something related to this? Thanks you very much Finally I found the solution ! !. I had to check the "*Use custom workspace volume*" and to choose the option "*Empty Dir Workspace Volume*" under "Advanced" --> "Node Properties" at Pod Template level. [JIRA] (JENKINS-49821) Error pod provisioning (Not found: "workspace-volume") when the configuration is made using the gui
Title: Message Title Daniel Majano updated an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-49821 Error pod provisioning (Not found: "workspace-volume") when the configuration is made using the gui Change By: Daniel Majano Hi all,Recently, I'm started to define the integration between my physical Jenkins master with a Kubernetes Cluster under AWS to dynamic slave provisioning.Using podTemplate and containerTemplate pipeline steps it works perfectly but in my case, the configuration using the GUI and only invoke the pod using a label under pipelines is more useful to avoid the duplication configurations between hundred of jobs. The podTemplate/containerTemplate pipeline step internally is generating a empty volume for the jenkins workspace mounted at workingDir (see attached images). But the big problem is when you use the GUI configuration and build the job. A error appears:*{color:#d04437}Message: Pod "test-pod-k8-dvrcl" is invalid: [spec.volumes[4].hostPath.path: Required value, spec.containers[0].volumeMounts[4].name: Not found: "workspace-volume"{color}*I'm defining the *"Working directory"* like "*/home/jenkins*" but I can't create a Volume manually called "workspace-volumen" to try a workaround.
