[JIRA] [memegen-plugin] (JENKINS-31943) Meme generator plugin is broken
Title: Message Title Jon Cairns commented on JENKINS-31943 Re: Meme generator plugin is broken Ok, the meme generator API is fundamentally broken. This `@Created` parameter looks like a problem with a stored procedure, which is corroborated by [an issue on another project](https://github.com/webdestroya/lita-memegen/issues/9). I'm giving up on the meme generator API, which I've had a number of problems with over the years. I'm going to swap it out for [apimeme.com](http://apimeme.com/), which didn't exist when I started this but is exactly what I'm looking for. No need for username/password, and it returns the image as a binary response over HTTP. I'll update progress here. Thanks again Add Comment This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.2#64017-sha1:e244265) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Issues" group. Title: Message Title Jon Cairns commented on JENKINS-31943 Re: Meme generator plugin is broken Thanks for reporting this. It's been a long time since I've done anything on the plugin, so I'll familiarise myself with the code again and try and get the API call fixed. [JIRA] (JENKINS-13809) Template variables are permanently overwritten on first use
Jon Cairns created JENKINS-13809: Summary: Template variables are permanently overwritten on first use Key: JENKINS-13809 URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-13809 Project: Jenkins Issue Type: Bug Components: jenkins-plugin-runtime Affects Versions: current Environment: Should happen on all systems and versions. Reporter: Jon Cairns Assignee: Jon Cairns Meme configurations that include template variables such as ${project} will be overwritten with the actual name of the project that first uses that Meme, as the Meme object is not copied/cloned, and it is automatically saved. The fix is to create a copy of the object and use that for the Meme generation. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
