A workaround is to add .git-credentials manually on the build slave, then for piplines replace "LFS after checkout" option with a step that runs "git -c credential.helper=store lfs pull origin". Related: Jenkins will keep trying the same credentials until it times out in 10 minutes. GIT_TRACE=1 shows it's stuck in a loop of seeing Basic auth, setting GIT_ASKPASS, post, 401 error, repeat. Server says it doesn't have enough information to finish connecting the bot, bot doesn't dispatch ConnectEvent, irc-plugin blocks then times out after 2 minutes waiting for that ConnectEvent ( https://github.com/TheLQ/ircbot-plugin/blob/master/src/main/java/hudson/plugins/ircbot/v2/IRCConnection.java#L208 ) I tried to reproduce this with my Jenkins server on irc.mozilla.org, even registered it with nickserv, but didn't run into any issues. Dave do you see any errors from the IRC server before that line? If not can you paste any IRC logs between the - Starting Connect attempt 1/5 - line to before the ERROR: Closing link line you posted? Leon Blakey created JENKINS-15710 Web Prefix with 2 levels causes site to be unreachable Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: current Assignee: Unassigned Components: www Created: 03/Nov/12 9:19 AM Description: When setting the prefix for the website to something with 2 levels (in my case /admin/jenkins) jenkins is completely unreachable at any URL Jenkins command line from service: /usr/bin/java -jar /usr/share/jenkins/jenkins.war --prefix=/admin/jenkins --webroot=/var/cache/jenkins/war --httpPort=8080 --ajp13Port=-1 Errors with various URLs with above command (none have stacktraces) Exception: Request URL /admin/jenkins not found. Exception: Request URL /admin/jenkins/ not found. Exception: Request URL / not found. Exception: Request URL /admin not found. Exception: Request URL /jenkins not found.
