 I actually resolved this problem - it turned out to be another plugin (I don't remember the plugin name right now). It was the reason for the duplicates. It's working as expected now.

 Hey guys, I've been using the Email Ext. plugin for quite some time, but just set up a script that uses Selenium to test the deployed applications to make sure the deployment happened correctly and the correct version has been deployed. I then have it take a snapshot of the about page on our application, which the script then copies back to the Jenkins server and drops them into a "screenshots" folder under the workspace folder. All of this works without a hitch, but then I have the Email Ext. plugin set to use the following directory for attachments: screenshots/ This folder has from one to 3 screenshots in it, named according to which server it was pulled from. The problem is that each attachment is added to the email twice - so when we get the email from Jenkins stated that it was built (along with some various information it gleans from the build, the deployments, and the application.properties file), it has two of each screenshot attached to the email (as can be seen in the screenshot attached to this).
