[JIRA] (JENKINS-53857) No option to disable build continuation when computer forcefully restarted
Title: Message Title Sam Van Oort commented on JENKINS-53857 Re: No option to disable build continuation when computer forcefully restarted Marley Kudiabor This was fixed via updates to the Pipeline plugin suite, but you'll need to be on a more modern core (2.62 IIRC) to consume the updates. [JIRA] (JENKINS-53857) No option to disable build continuation when computer forcefully restarted
Title: Message Title Marley Kudiabor created an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-53857 No option to disable build continuation when computer forcefully restarted Issue Type: Bug Assignee: Unassigned Components: core Created: 2018-10-01 17:31 Environment: Windows Server 2008 R2 Priority: Blocker Reporter: Marley Kudiabor Corporate policies push mandatory updates to Jenkins server. Unfortunately this seems to shut down the computer while Jenkins is in a "shutting down" state. When the server comes up it is still in this "shutting down" state but all the jobs that were running try to continue where they left off. They never time out or fail from this, they simply get stuck in limbo and run perpetually until manually cancelled/killed. Quiet Start Plugin appears to do something different and requires manual intervention. Is there a way to disable automatic continuation of builds after a restart? Especially if Jenkins isn't capable of even continuing builds at times? Add Comment
