I have the same problem on a maven project (not freestyle) which only runs some soapUI WS integration tests. Surefire XML reports files are correctly generated by the soapUI maven plugin but nothing gets published by jenkins.

As long as you have xml junit reports somewhere, there is another workaround: The maven jenkins plugin will publish test results automatically, if there is a special property in project pom.Just add something like this to the project tag of the project pom.xml:{code: xlm xml }target/protractor-reports{code} See paragraph "Collecting Test Results from arbitrary test plugins" in [https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Building+a+maven2+project]

Unable to find source-code formatter for language: pom.xlm. Available languages are: actionscript, html, java, _javascript_, none, sql, xhtml, xml

target/protractor-reports
