Title: Message Title Paul Allen commented on JENKINS-26956 Re: perforce timeout option in the plugin The Perforce Credentials has an Advanced option to set the `RPC_SOCKET_SO_TIMEOUT_NICK` as discussed in issue JENKINS-31196 . If the timeout occurs the build WILL exit with an abort state (because it was aborted). However, there is an advanced retry option, perhaps set this to 3 or 4 retries with the TIMEOUT. If after all the retry attempts the build still fails, then I think an abort is appropriate. On a separate note perhaps contact the Perforce support team as there might be something we can do to help with your network/Perforce connection issues.
