Re: [josm-dev] Relation editor in 0.6

This is something I really do not know how to handle. Removing the current
function to stop duplicated entries will make handling a lot more
complicated.

Probably the simple relation editor concept is at the end here and we
need to add some warning/special handling depending on the type of
relation.

Actually, I found only one way to delete a key/value : go to and
delete the text field in value and press Enter.
IMHO this is a bug. The delete button should delete the selected item,
not something else. Please file a trac report.

This is not a bug. The Delete-UI-Button (If we are not talking about
the keyboard button here) always deleted entries in the member table.
That's what it's tooltip is suggesting as well.
The Tags-table header says (empty value deletes tag). I was thinking
about adding a (x) button at the end of each row to be able to delete
them with a more dedicated action.

Claudius

The media break. My father used the help feature and clicked and

I have noticed that on Ubuntu there is a problem with opening urls, in

don't see this problem.

 Please go on!

I would say that having 4-5 (depending on the text length) motd is
 ok,
 more is problematic:

 a. doesn't fit on a smaller screen (as you've said)
 b. if it's too much no one will really read the messages

JOSM could also record the items already shown, and just show those
 that
 are new.

I would say show them at least 10 times, and at least the last 3, with
some extra special important messages shown for longer.

Also it would be nice, it the motd would get downloaded
 asynchronously.

+1

When I was on a really slow internet connection over Christmas, is was
better for me to not have an internet connection than to have the
really slow internet connection, which stalled the startup of JOSM.
