Click on the coordinates in the lower left. A window of the current
position and zoom level opens. Change the values to move to a
specified zoom.

It isn't easy, but possible. Use '+' or '-' keys or the zoom slider.

OK, would be nice to get the majority of relation types and their roles 
in the presets. People tend to take the validator warnings rather 
serious and there were a couple of complaints already.
