It has a Workflow object that takes in an ADO RecordSet and produces the equivalent string representation in XML. You could port this logic over to Java if you have no other leads. However we don't have generic html package that could take ResultSet or any other type of Collection and convert it to html table. Does any of you aware about any existing designs or APIs? Serious Problem With This List (Pretty park)
Unfortunately I cant speak for anyone else, but the fellow that keeps sending virus e-mails should be kicked off the list immediatedly ( this is REAL problem compared to any fart jokes). This should have been done after the first e-mail. Could a list manger let us know what is going to be done. Rick Bosch === To unsubscribe: mailto [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body: "signoff JSP-INTEREST". Re: ALERT!!!! C:\CoolProgs\Pretty Park.exe contains the Pretty. worm virus
My admin sent him mails after each time he sent his mail, he should be dropped from the list, when he fixes his computer he can sign on again. If he doesnt know his computer is infected by now then he is a moron, if he been away on vacation or whatever, all the more reason to drop him, who knows when hell come back. This is a potentially damaging situation more serious than any left field fart jokes rick "Kirkdorffer, Daniel" [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 10/26/99 11:46:51 AM Please respond to "Kirkdorffer, Daniel" [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc:(bcc: Ricardo Bosch/CHASE) Subject: Re: ALERT C:\CoolProgs\Pretty Park.exe contains the "Pretty. worm" virus Also he hasn't in any way defended himself. ...surely because he is totally unaware that it sent an email here. Also he hasn't in any way defended himself. CJ wrote: I disagree. There could be no other reason for sending a virus-infected executable to a list like this twice other than to spread the virus. Do you not understand how this worm does its deed? You don't send it, it sends itself under your name. I'm sure this list was just one of the many victims in Mr. Park's address book. Perhaps if you understood the problem you would be more understanding of the victims. He must have read the virus warnings the first time, but sends it still. Huh? Take a chill pill hon, Park's more of a victim than you are. He made the mistake of opening it. At least you dodged that bullet. Re: Documentation for sun.net.smtp.SmtpClient
Since the class belongs to the sun package you are advised by sun not to implement it, since they can change it or remove it whenever they want, some companies wont let you write apps that instantiate sun classes. Your best bet is to download the 1.2 source code and find the class, see how they create the functionality and then write it into your own class. rick Jacob Madsen [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 11/02/99 03:11:47 AM Please respond to Jacob Madsen [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc:(bcc: Ricardo Bosch/CHASE) Subject: Documentation for sun.net.smtp.SmtpClient Does anyone know of a URL with documentation of this class? Re: A basic doubt
A JSP is checked every time is executed to see if any changes have been made, servlets do not suffer from this drawback which can add up under stressful situations -rickb Srihari Chandana [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 12/23/99 10:31:19 PM Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc:(bcc: Ricardo Bosch/CHASE) Subject: A basic doubt Hi friends, Iam quite comfortable using java and jsp. We(me and my team mates) developed a web application using jsp and beans. In that we never found the need to write a servlet(as the jsp creates one).My doubt is, when we create a web application, is there anything that CAN be done by a SERVLET but not by a JSP? If no, then where is the need to write servlets and call them in jsp as some of the queries in the mailing list indicate? I hope this is a very valid doubt.Iam expecting some replies to this query. BeanSetter methods
Does thae bean have to implement any methods or extend any other classes to be able to use bean setter methods or can it just be a class with matching form name/setName. I've heard you can just import bean but this doesnt sound right, can anyone clarify I've loked all over for this and it seems poorly documented.does anyone have an example of a class they are useing that they could share thanks(); -rick === To unsubscribe: mailto [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body: "signoff JSP-INTEREST".
