Well folks I would like to invite you to celebrate Hogmany with us this Sunday starting at 4:oo PM. We will have snacks so come on by for some new years fun. I have just finished making some of my great grandmother's fruitcake. She would turn over in her grave knowing I replaced the lard with coconut milk to make it vegan. So you have to come out, I have defiled part of my heritage for the sake of Vegans. We will be in Newell Simon Hall because it looks like it might rain and the ground will be squishy. If we can meet outside on the cut I will send another email.
Hogmany is the Scottish celebration of the new year. It is why you sing a Scottish song on New Years Eve, the English stole that from us. Anyway, the Scottish celebrate it by blowing things up and lighting stuff on fire. There is also a great deal of drinking but we are going to skip that. I don't think I am allowed to bring a bottle of scotch to the campus. I fear we will also not be lighting anything on fire. There will be some LED toys and we can sneak outside if it not raining. I hope you can join us. SR Gailey Secretary of the Juggling Club and Amateur Baker.
