Linux Containers (LXC) provision very fast and work very well. Using Juju
on your laptop is an excellent way to rapidly prototype cloud image
development as you need to do. There are many resources on the Internet
that describe how to create charms.

Most of the charms are Free and Open Source Software.
We have Wildfly which is an open source version based on JBoss:

We also have memcached:

Those charms already exist in the Juju Charm store and can relate to
other Juju Charms in the ecosystem.
The others would be great submissions if you were willing to charm them
