Re: [JPP-Devel] Do we have any organizations interested in providing proposals for OpenJUMP programming services?
Hi, I do know that the geospatial division of the company Logica in Finland is doing some work with OpenJUMP, they have also committed the fine feature of using WMS over https and basic authentication that is now included in nightly builds. Worldwide web address is http://logica.com. I do not know if they want to be included in the list. Should I ask? -Jukka Rahkonen- Stefan wrote: Hei, I just checked: http://www.osgeo.org/search_profile?SET=1MUL_TECH%5B%5D=00063 and our own support page on the wiki (I updated it now: http://openjump.org/wiki/show/Professional+Support). seems like there are plenty of companies worldwide offering OpenJUMP support. However, in the US it looks rare ;) stefan - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ Jump-pilot-devel mailing list Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ Jump-pilot-devel mailing list Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel
Re: [JPP-Devel] Testing Michael's DXF Plug-In
Hi all, Note that there is another dxf plugin around there, which is probably much more feature complete. Michaël Daante Fuster's plugin that you can find here: http://openjump.org/wiki/show/Plugins under Other Dataformats section. It is formed by two files: the plugin itself and the DXF viewer (see notes under the plugin page). Some comments on this plugin: according to a former letter of Dante (http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg01284.html) this plugin writes all features in different layers if contains attributes. I tested it severaltimes, included with a Spanish version of OJ, but I was not able to let it work. The possibility to export features to DXF in different layers according an attribute would be extremely usefu. [JPP-Devel] 3d terrain/image viewing, WTS @Michael, Larry, Arnd (Pirol), Lat/Lon
Hei Michael, Larry, Arnd Co somebody asked on the forum for code/plugin on 3d terrain + image display (see: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5561374 ) So I remembered the old plugin from Ugo where we have also the screenshot. According to the email fixed bug in GMLReader -- 3D in OpanJUMP [from 18. Nov. 2005] Michael did some testing on that. @Michael: Is the code still around on your harddisk? And I also have seen that Pirol has a Terrain Model Plugin. @Arnd: I have never tested this plugin, but does the plugin show terrain data in a 3d Window? Does it overlay images? I also had seen once a WTS-(Web Terrain Server)-Demo from LatLon - can anybody remember if there has been any code around/published? stefan - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ Jump-pilot-devel mailing list Jump-pilot-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jump-pilot-devel

Hi Stefan, I don't think I have had Ugo's code about his 3d plugin. Too bad. It looks nice. I only have a very rough piece of code I have written a few years ago to visualize vector data with java3d : Here it is : http://geo.michaelm.free.fr/OpenJUMP/resources/troisdQuickLook.jar (needs java3d, some features with z coordinate must be selected, move with the three buttons of the mouse in the 3d view - no option available, source available on demand) I have never tried pirol's plugin, but it seems it is ready for grid data 3d visualization. Also I haven't yet tested tin code from Christopher (just loaded the tin jar, which can triangulate a set of 3d points, don't know if it includes a 3d visualization tool or other options) Michaël [EMAIL PROTECTED] a écrit : Hei Michael, Larry, Arnd Co somebody asked on the forum for code/plugin on 3d terrain + image display (see: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5561374 ) So I remembered the old plugin from Ugo where we have also the screenshot.
