Sure.  I did that to organize this menu in SkyJUMP.You need to move at
least 3 to a submenu to make it worth while.  It might be enough to move 4
items to the Layer menu, if there is room there.

new bundled version has been uploaded to SF (also a new version of the 
binding lib in /temp)

so Sextante 0.6  OJ 1.4 should now run together as they are supposed to

You might want to leave it as

JUMP unified mapping framework

The original acronym of JUMP was Java Unified Mapping Framework.  But 
the word Java is a trademark (now of Oracle).  The possible legal issues 
looked scary, so we changed to a recursive acronym JUMP Unified Mapping 
Framework.

Given Oracle's recent track record, I would advise staying away from 
using the word Java anywhere as a name or title.
