Re: [k-9-mail] ics outlook file not updating properly
I don't think Google calendar is doing anything to file because the sender isn't using Google (they're using outlook) and it's coming straight to k9. Also, if I open the same file in my outlook, it works fine and updates the event accordingly. On Thu, Feb 7, 2019, 4:20 PM David W. Jones Ok. RE: [k-9-mail] ics outlook file not updating properly
Ok. It sounds like the problem is at Google Calendar end, possibly caused by something Outlook is doing in the ICS it generates. Maybe try an ICS from Google Calendar, or some other calendar app, see if it has same problem when K-9 gets the invite? It going into your Google calendar the first time is subject to your allowing Google to read your email for that purpose. Correct, the outlook calendar invite is an attachment when it shows up in K9 then you usually open it and save it and goes into your google calendar like normal. However, any edits that are sent after the initial calendar invite are not getting updated with correct time/changes. Make sense? From: k-9-mail@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of David W. Anyone else have this problem?
