Sometimes, usually when I'm in the middle of doing something I really want to
get done, Krita will stop recognizing the pen pressure from my tablet. I am
using a Lenovo laptop with Windows 10, and a wacom intuos tablet.
This has twice now, this being the third time. Normally I'd fix it by
reinstalling it, but it didn't work this time.
I'm really angry. I want to get my work done.

I have run into this bug a number of times and managed to fix it in some way or
another, but I'm having problems again so I thought I'd file an issue.

When I click on a Page right after opening skrooge, it asks me if I want to
update the Page I'm leaving with its current state. If I check the box "Don't
ask me again," I don't see that pop-up anymore for that session. However, if I
reopen skrooge, the pop-up shows up again. It seems as if the config settings
aren't being saved between sessions.

I have a skrooge file that is approximately 3 years old, so it has seen a
number of different skrooge versions. Perhaps this has something to do with it?

This is a pretty major issue with instant preview since it basically means I
cannot do thumbnailing or work in a zoomed out setting both of which are kinda
crucial to working at high resolutions.

I have a Yiynova MVP22U+(RH) on digimend V6 configured with evdev on arch linux
with KDE; the issue may only affect certain tablet brands, I don't know (I
think this didn't happen on my old wacom)

What happens basically is that the first stroke I draw while zoomed out always
goes well, but if I start doing another stroke within like a second after the
first one ends, I can encounter bugs like the stroke going on a different
trajectory or starting in a different spot than my cursor was, and also
sometimes the stroke will not show immediately, then when it does show (after I
raise my pen) maybe only a part of the stroke was completed. Basically all
sorts of mess can happen between strokes in instant preview whilst zoomed out,
the issue strangely enough didn't occur when at 100% or closer zoom. The issue
becomes worse the further I zoom out and less noticable at a closer zoom (Like
120% seems to work pretty ok)

I'm working at a pretty high resolution (8K) on a 1920x1080 monitor, so the
particularly high resolution and how far I need to zoom out (like 13% zoom
sometimes) may have a major impact on this.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a new image at 8192x8192 resolution, zoom out to fit screen
(assumed:1920x1080) and select a brush, make sure instant preview is enabled.
2. Draw quick successive strokes (I recommend rapid handwriting)
3. Watch everything go wrong! (Only the first letter/stroke looks right! :( )

Actual Results:  
Misaligned and disproportionate and often misshapen strokes

Expected Results:  
Strokes aligned with the cursor/pen and proportional to the distance the
pen/cursor actually travelled.

I confirmed that disabling instant preview indeed fixes the problem.

I also have this issue. I'm running a Skylake (6700HQ) with an Intel HD 530. I
do not have this issue on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, but I do have it on Arch Linux.

I recently migrated from Gnome to KDE. I am running KDE Plasma 5.7.2 on Arch
Linux. I am having an annoying problem: The KDE KickOff application launcher
sometimes crashes while I am typing to search for an application by its name.
It first freezes, then the entire panel vanishes, then the panel returns to the
desktop. I only have one widget. I removed it, but the problem did not go away.
I have also disabled "Expand search to bookmarks, files and emails" under
Application Launcher Settings. The problem persists. Removing the panel and
creating a new one did not help either. I am using the standard Breeze theme.
After struggling with this issue for a while, yesterday I changed the menu
style to "Application Dashboard". My notebook has an Intel integrated graphics
card and I am not using proprietary drivers.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select "Application Launcher" under KickOff -> Alternatives. 
2. Start the KickOff menu.
3. Type text to search for matching applications, 

Actual Results:  
Oftentimes (not always) the kickoff freezes and then the panel is restarted.  

Expected Results:  
We should be able to type text with no freezes or crashes. Matching
applications should be displayed. 

Hardware: Dell XPS 13, model 9343, Intel GPU.

Solved and Have a Workaround:

Work Around:
Open graphical file manager. 
Navigate to destination.
Drag and drop images.

Solution:
I will go a long time before reboots and will upgrade the system (pacman -Syu)
at least weekly.
Last reboot was June 12.  Between then and today kio and kio-extras were
upgraded four times.

A system restart  brought the kio system back into sync. 

Note to developers; Thank you for not suggesting a reboot. Though in this case
it was called for.

Fix collision detection.

When the ball intersects with two bricks after a time step, a function
was called to calculate the overlap with each of these bricks. Due to a
bug, the calculation always returned NaN and the ball always bounced off
of the second brick (independent from the overlap). This bug has now
been fixed. The bug caused the ball to frequently change direction on
a bounce. This issue is now fixed.

Great, thank you very much for fixing this, Vincent! I've tried it on my
several titles long outro library clip with lots of transitions ... and it
worked like a charm! I just had to find out how many additional tracks my
library clip needs before it will expand... *nudge*

Using digiKam 5.0.0, I did the following with MySQL DB:

1)Add photos in a new album.
2)In thumbnails view, move multiple images to Trash.

In UI: The images are no more visible in Thumbnails view.

In DB: 
After adding images, they're visible correctly in Images table.
After deletion, images still present in DB but with album column = "NULL". If
we restore these images, then NULL entries remains in the table, and new rows
are added for those images.

I can reproduce the problem on the live image: digging trough .xsession-errors
seems that plasmashell is crashing (sadly couldn't get to a backtrace)
Your layout.js appears to be wrong (it's actually cycling on screens twice, i
should see why this makes it actually crash) and yes, it appears to be wrong
upstream as well :/

can you try without the outer loop as in:

I suspect a problem we previous version settings stored somewhere. There is one
other report about.

Please try to setup digiKam from a new account where digiKam have never been
installed. Configure with first run assistant and try again to see if crash is
reproducible.

Welcome to the insoluble puzzle of KIO slave. This is why we have dropped all
KIO slave support in digiKam, excepted for this plugin which is optional at
compilation time of course.

So it's typically a packaging and installing problem. It's on your system
(config or something like that). Contact your distro team for any help.

Just as a guess,

the problem might be from another source. Cause my fluxbox system with
VirtualBox has a similar problem. When switching to fullscreen with a
VirtualBox-System, it is not really a fullscreen as the fluxbox titlebar and
all other windows stay above the fullscreen VirtualBox window.

Maybe it is realted to another component and we find some similarities to our
system. Many people here seem to use ArchLinux. Another information might be
interesting: T540p with nvidia and intel graphics adapter.

Login after lockscreen if monitor powered off leads to KCMinit crash.  Do not
have the problem if screen locks for short periods.  Similar problem occurs
after screenlock if I try logging in remotely using e.g. x2go.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open two vertical split views in kate
2. Activate (say) right view
3. Resize right view to size 0. I. e. make it so small that it will disappear

Actual Results:  
Right view will remain to be active. Yes, it has size 0 and it is completely
invisible, but it is still active. If I type some characters, they will go to
this active view. Of course, user will be very frustrated. He will think: "I
type characters, why they don't appear?" They actually appear at invisible
view. If I click at some files at "Documents" (i. e. at "Documents" panel),
then that active view will open this file, completely invisible for me

Expected Results:  
Right view should deactivate when I resize it to zero

All predefined templates are not avalaible through ' File -> New' dialog
' File -> New' dialog contains only recently created template

Expected Results:  
Created template adds to the list of predefined templates

OS Windows 10 x64

Same problem using 3.0 and 3.0.1 version 

Predefined templates reapears after deleting this folder:
C:/Users/%username%/AppData/Roaming/krita/templates

Same problem under Windows 10.

The screenshot shows the theme “GrayCard” (using the default widget style,
which seems to be “WindowsVista”.

There are four widget styles available on Windows 10:
default: WindowsVista: broken
WindowsXP: broken
Windows: works
Fusion: works

A quick-and-dirty solution might be to simply always use “Fusion” as widget
style when running at Windows or at Mac.

The problem with the barely visible icons seems to be a problem of the icon
theme. After choosing a dark theme, you can manually switch Settings→Various
settings→Icon theme to “BreezeDark”, which works fine. However, maybe this
should automatically be done when choosing a dark theme?

I think this bug is NOT really a technical issue, but a design problem.

This is a option on the UI to let people choose time format, but...Why the date
time format has to be bound with a country? What's the rationality for this
design?

Please install kwin-dbg, trigger the crash (run the fullscreen game) and attach
the new developer information from the crash dialog (just what you posted
before, but now it will contain more information)

(The latest attachment shows gdb attached to kwin, there's no segfault occurred
and notably no trace contained.)
