[kdenlive] [Bug 373406] Timeline position indicator and other features not working in new update

2016-12-10 Thread Kokoro
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373406

(In reply to Wegwerf from comment #1)
> Number of processing threads set to 1?

Oh I'm sorry, I don't know what that is. Where can I find that in the program?
If I change the processing threads to one, would that fix it?

[systemsettings] [Bug 373517] New: System Settings crash when removing custom keys

2016-12-10 Thread Darin McBride
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373517

Bug ID: 373517
Summary: System Settings crash when removing custom keys
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.8.4
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: tankta...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: systemsettings5 (5.8.4)
 (Compiled from sources)
Qt Version: 5.6.2
Frameworks Version: 5.28.0
Operating System: Linux 4.8.12-gentoo-r1 x86_64
Distribution: "NAME=Gentoo"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I'm trying to set custom keys for Amarok's Play/Pause action, and I get this
regularly when attempting to remove an old setting. Turns out that when I
restart system settings and return to the global shortcuts to try again, the
removal is registered there. (I'm also unsuccessful at getting Amarok to
play/pause with the shortcut chosen).

The crash can be reproduced every time.

I found one, if you are rotoscoping a clip and then apply to it a position and
zoom effect and move it the rotoscoped part isn't sticking.

2016-12-10 Thread Lindsay Roberts
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356479

This change has now been in master for two months with no reports of
regression; I now think backporting is a reasonable step. Specifically because
of its impact on laptops and other battery powered machines -- being on battery
and having some kind of connecting icon in the tray are highly correlated.

Will leave it up to one of the more authoritative KDE devs to determine whether
it is tested enough and significant enough.

[kwin] [Bug 373515] New: please ban kwin5_aurorae.so in kwon_wayland

2016-12-10 Thread Nick Shaforostoff
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373515

Bug ID: 373515
Summary: please ban kwin5_aurorae.so in kwon_wayland
   Product: kwin
   Version: 5.8.4
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: aurorae
  Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: sha...@ukr.net
  Target Milestone: ---

i have installed and opened plasma waylaid session, but the cursor was moving
very slowly and in a descret way. kwin_wayland was eating 100% cpu. connecting
with gdb has shown me that this was happening due to endless QSGBatchRender
loop started from kwin5_aurorae.so

So solution for me was to switch to breeze window decoration.

but an average user might not know this, so please just ban kwin5_aurorae.so
when running under wayland. fixing the original issue might be good as well,
but i understand this would take time.

Git commit 61fe41652be693d213ebbc3465bf970ce52a4f76 by Johannes Zarl-Zierl.

Fix the SortLastUsed functionality in ListSelect

Unfortunately, sorting the ListSelect entries in the annotation dialog
in a most-recently-used first order currently requires shuffling the tag
list in the XMLCategory.
That means that the numerical id's in the database invariably change to
reflect the most-recently-used order...

I didn't remove it, as far as I know. I install everything in a distro, even

a forum about why it might be missing.

I have the same issue.

The problem is when the guide flag is over a clip. If it is over empty space
you can access it.

My lame workaround is to put an unused blank track at the top. Then I can
right-click the guide flag and access its menu.

[kdenlive] [Bug 373512] New: Position and Zoom effect doesn't work

2016-12-10 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373512

Bug ID: 373512
Summary: Position and Zoom effect doesn't work
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 16.08.2
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Effects & Transitions
  Assignee: vpi...@kde.org
  Reporter: r...@libertymail.net
  Target Milestone: ---

The Position and Zoom effect hasn't worked since version 16.04.2. In versions
16.08.1 - 16.08.2 on Fedora the following happens:

1. Enable Position and Zoom on a video clip
2. Add a few keyframes
3. Change the video clip's zoom and position (ie: zoom in to the top right at
200%, then zoom back out to 100%)
4. The Project Monitor shows the red boarder and white dot in the middle. The
white dot moves, but the actual video clip doesn't.

In the Kdenlive-16.12-rc-x86_64 AppImage version from Dec. 1, 2016 (17.03.70)
there are improvements. The Position and Zoom effect can work, but:

1. When you enable Position and Zoom on a video clip, it automatically adds a
keyframe near the beginning of the clip
2. Everything before or after that keyframe is black in the Project Monitor
3. You need to manually add key frames to the beginning and end, as well as
centre them
4. After, you can delete that first keyframe that was automatically created
5. You can then use the effect normally

happen for any png named like this. Definitely not a major/priority bug. Just
letting you know it does that...

That is, it will be impossible to create a business card with Krita.

Change format, you lose a lot of quality. The ideal is the PDF.

Graphics (Print Shop, "Off Set Shop") accept only PDF format.

Bug ID: 373510
Summary: The drag and drop modifiers don't work dragging
between separate instances of dolphin
   Product: dolphin
   Version: 16.08.3
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: panels: folders
  Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: rich.tr...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Holding the SHIFT key down while dragging a file will move it -- if used in the
same dolphin window. Dragging files between two instances of dolphin always
shows the move, copy, link menu.

[kde] [Bug 373507] New: Plasma Panel keeps resetting to "Windows go Below"

Bug ID: 373507
Summary: Plasma Panel keeps resetting to "Windows go Below"
   Product: kde
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: unf...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I once have set a panel to use "Windows go below" instead of "Always visible"
and now every time my desktop loads - the panel uses "Windows go below". It
forgets that I change it to "Always visible" and I have to change this every
time I reboot or logout/login.

I use a laptop with external display - the main display panel was once set to
"Auto-hide" but remebered when I have changed it back to "Always visible". The
secondary display however is stuck with "Windows go below" and I can't get it
to remember anything else.

Glad I saw this reported. Now at least there is hope. It should have at least
the zoom feature.

I was looking at this
link(https://vizzzion.org/blog/2011/01/slicing-up-the-web/) and learnt that it
used to have many features.

[kdevelop] [Bug 373505] New: Crash in highlighting

2016-12-10 Thread Francis Herne
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373505

Bug ID: 373505
   Summary: Crash in highlighting

[kmymoney4] [Bug 349938] hang freeze during QIF import

2016-12-10 Thread allan
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349938

OK, that's good to know. At the moment, I'm suspecting that this is an issue
with how Windows handles these file name characters. It may be possible, given
developer time availability, that a work around could be provided. The
timescale, however, is not short, as developer time is in short supply, and the
big priority at the moment is the port of KMyMoney to Frameworks5.

So far as the date format is concerned, KMM attempts to derive the format from
the actual data. However, because of the ambiguity of day and month values, it
is not always possible to determine this absolutely so that is when the query
occurs, which only the user can do. I'm not sure, though, however, whether in
such cases, the stored date format could be used, or even whether it is used.

Introduce new check: base-class-event

Warns when you return false inside your QEvent::event() or
QEvent::eventFilter() re-implementation.

Call the base method instead.

KMix autostart .desktop-file

Updated KMix autostart .desktop-file.

Changes from version currently (2016-12-10) in git:

- Added the entry 'X-KDE-autostart-phase=1'.
This fixes my problem that KMix did not autostart.

- Renamed 'DocPath' to 'X-DocPath'.
X-DocPath is not an official XDG .destop entry, hence the required 'X-'.
(All other .desktop-files use 'X-DocPath' esxcept for KMix.)

- Changed 'X-KDE-StartupNotify' to 'StartupNotify'.
StartupNotify is now an official XDG .desktop entry,
so the 'X-KDE-' is no longer needed.

The problem actually happens not in Qt, but in malloc :(

It seems like the memory gets corrupted somewhere. I don't know what can be the
reason of it though. I tested krita/3.1 branch under valgrind (but with Qt
5.5.1), and it didn't show any problem :(

  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

smaragd.knsrc

Trying to use the attached .ksnrc file with knewstuff frameworks, clicking the
"Install" button fails to download the content files.

For example, trying to download the 'seven' theme fails. For details about the
returned information for this theme, see https://phabricator.kde.org/T4863

Testing using 'khotnewstuff4' works fine, so there is a regression in the KF5
version of the knewstuff framework.

2016-12-10 Thread RJVB
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371933

I'm now running a local patch that adds `m_view_to_action.contains()` checks
before all uses of `m_view_to_action.value()`, and which replaces Q_ASSERT with
a qCritical() message. No more crashing, I hope, and if my hunch is correct
that these situations occur when a view->action mapping was removed a bit too
early it should be an acceptable workaround, too.

[kmymoney4] [Bug 349938] hang freeze during QIF import

2016-12-10 Thread Antoine T
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349938

I am quite confident because:
* it has always worked since month except this month
* the only noticeable changement is that I have put the QIF in one level down
with a "," inside, instead of parent
* I tried multiple times with and without ",", with small and long filename,
and this is the conclusion.
* the issue is very reproductible, but with 2 kind of symptoms. In my usual
(3year-old) account file, it either freezes or shows a window to choose which
date format I want to use (although it already is set in QIF profile). For the
latter, the app shows that it has imported successfully no element. As if it
can see nothing inside the file. I have tried today to create a new account,
and it never freezes, but always ask me the date format, and import nothing.
When removing the ",", it works.

Sorry, but I'm Linux only. Perhaps a Windows user could do this small test.

How confident are you that the ',' issue resolves your problem?
