Summary: Konqueror crashes on launching with "Could not find
QtWebEngineProcess" error printed #packaging
   Product: konqueror
   Version: 5.0.97
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR

Application: konqueror (5.0.97)

Qt Version: 5.7.1
Frameworks Version: 5.33.0
Operating System: Linux 4.8.0-46-generic x86_64
Distribution: KDE neon User Edition 5.9

- Other info
I suspect this issue is due to the missing dependency of libqt5webengine5
package, which provides the QtWebEngineProcess binary, currently konqueror
package depend on libqt5webenginewidgets5, but libqt5webenginewidgets5 package
only depends on libqt5webenginecore5 package.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Apparently modeseting did not implement a tearfree mode and particularly
Skylake nee page_flip or buffer-age:

https://whirm.eu/posts/fix-for-xorgs-modesetting-driver-tearing/

I've tried KWIN_TRIPLE_BUFFER=1 but no effect to. Actualy I'm using arch but
can confirm it happens at neon too.

2017-04-11 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378677

Bug ID: 378677
   Summary: returning-void-expression false positive
   Product: clazy
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: oktal3...@gmail.com
CC: smart...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

The returning-void-expression warning is spuriously generated by any code that
returns a braced-initializer, such as the following testcase:

int test()
{
return {};
}

In Clang's AST, before semantic analysis, the type of a braced-initializer is
void.

The AST visitor should skip the warning if the return value is-a InitListExpr.

requested that I submit more info: Duplicated the crash and obtained the crash
log (Attached)
To submit this updated report, I downloaded a newer version (3.1.2.1) of Krita

Both incidents occurred using portable versions of Krita
Hope this helps.

[kmymoney] [Bug 378649] KMyMoney crashed while saving reports. Now cannot open KMyMoney .kmy file - "unable" to parse

2017-04-11 Thread CraigH
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378649

Hi Luka

No backup "myFile.kmy.1~" file found.
I did not have "number of backups to keep" set (was 0).
Have recovered from a manual backup I made 3 hours previously, so don't
need to send you my .kmy file
My Current Version is 4.6.6-2 which is the only version in the repository
for Linux Mint 18.1. Not sure I want to try and install 4.8 from another
source.

In Reports, the "convert values to base currencies" does not work properly.
Although I have updated the currencies and the window shows updated as at
today's date USD>NZ $1.4370, that rate is not used in reports.
The rate used in reports is USD>NZ $1.2193.
I can report in USD but would prefer to have all reports in local currency
NZ $.
Should I log a bug for this issue?

Thank you for your prompt response.

[dolphin] [Bug 374075] File does not appear in Dolphin after creation

I can confirm that this problem exists with 16.12.3 on KDE Neon.

This bug only occurs when I open Dolphin from Plasma menu and try to create a
new text file in home folder.

When I create file with any other type in home folder or create text file in
different folder the bug does not occur.

I'm experiencing the same issue, that KTorrent always starts up with a full
window, whereas I'd like it to start minimized in the tray. Unfortunately I'm
not familiar with the code base so I'm unlikely to be of much help fixing the
bug, but I suppose this is some kind of independent confirmation that it does
happen.

[kmymoney4] [Bug 378676] New: 4.8.0 multiple installation problems on windows

2017-04-11 Thread Gary
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378676

Bug ID: 378676
Summary: 4.8.0 multiple installation problems on windows
   Product: kmymoney4
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: database
  Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: gf...@twoshoelaces.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Been using 4.7.2 on Windows, trying to install 4.8.0 on Windows (via
http://sourceforge.net/projects/kmymoney2/files/KMyMoney-Windows/4.8.0/kmymoney-x86-setup-4.8.0.exe/download)
using MySQL.

After program is installed, File -> Save as Database results in multiple
errors:
1) CREATE TABLE kmmAccountsPayeeIdentifier (accountId varchar(32) NOT NULL,
"order" smallint unsigned NOT NULL, identifierId varchar(32) NOT NULL, PRIMARY
KEY (accountId, "order")) ENGINE = InnoDB;

dies due to using "order", per bug #365615. I changed 4 instances in the SQL
calls (2 each in creating tables kmmAccountsPayeeIdentifier and
kmmPayeesPayeeIdentifier ) from order to userOrder

2) What appears to be a typo in INSERT INTO kmmFileInfo row,
hiPayeeIdentifierId data is NULLentifierId when I'm guessing it should be NULL?

After making the above changes, the SQL tables create successfully, but the
program dies when using File -> Open database. Another instance of Bug 365615,
hardcoded "order" instead of userOrder in the query ORDER BY, here is error
text:

Is there a way to modify the SQL code given that I'm running it using the
Windows .exe installer?

I have 2 monitors, 8 virtual desktops, and a vertical panel with a pager. When
I want to drag a window to a different virtual desktop this only works if I
first drag the window down until it is shown as moving, and then drag it up. If
I click on it and start dragging it up immediately the window does not move.

I have this on 2 different hosts.

[krita] [Bug 378665] "not working" by default

2017-04-11 Thread Boudewijn Rempt
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378665

That remains strange -- because with the default wacom configuration for my
intuos 3 and the default krita configuration, that works for me. Krita doesn't
do anything special, it doesn't even have any settings other than a response
curve for tablet events. It uses Qt's wacom support on OSX, which uses OSX's
tablet suport, which in turn goes to the wacom driver, when installed.

I've got 10.12 as well, an Intuos Pro 3 and a 15" Macbook Pro 2016. I also have
got a mac mini that's from around 2012, but that's currently running linux.
I'll reboot it tomorrow and try with a clean user and a clean install of
Krita...

But in general, stuff like wacom tablets not being recognized tends to be a
local problem, I'm afraid, and it's really hard to figure out workarounds for
those if one doesn't have access to the problem machine.

OS: Linux

proposed patch for manual update option

Fedora 25 plasma-pk-updates-0.2-10.20160307git73b70b3.fc25.x86_64

Expected:

To have an option for manual checks only in applet config menu near daily,
weekly, monthly options, to prevent the applet for automatic checks and do
checks with help of the applet only when it asked for it.

Reason being - in certain cases there is no way for OS to determine mobile
connections and other reasons.

[kalarm] [Bug 378431] Saving Text reminders very buggy

2017-04-11 Thread David Jarvie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378431

Not being able to save the alarm until you created your own calendar, was
probably due to KAlarm not creating its default calendars on first run. This
bug was fixed in version 2.11.10 (in KDE Applications 16.08.3).

The alarm being saved at 10:20 instead of 13:20 may be due to KAlarm using a
different time zone. Look in Settings -> Configure KAlarm -> Time & Date and
ensure that the time zone set there is the one that you are using. This time
zone should be the system time zone until you change it, but perhaps it somehow
got set to something else?

The remaining issue needs investigation...

I have this problem on Slackware Current, with plasma 5.9.3 and qt 5.7.1

It seems to actually be a Kwin bug, if I run with openbox-kde-session which
runs all of kde but uses openbox instead of kwin, I get focus properly. It's
possible its kwin with different hardware, so maybe why some don't see it, but
I can reproduce it on my machine with 2 year old Radeon card and alson on a two
year old intel nuc, with intel apu.

KAlarm is a separate specialist program which has many more options than
KOrganizer does for reminders and other prescheduled actions. While KAlarm uses
the same calendar file format as KOrganizer, in order to perform all its
functions it defines various additional data items in its calendars which won't
be understood (and will just be ignored) by KOrganizer. When using KAlarm, it
needs to use its own calendars since its data may be lost if using other types.

2017-04-11 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378665

Painting with the mouse works. Moving the cursor using the wacom tablet works.
Once I press down the pen the brush freezes but the cursor continuous to move.

OS: macOS 10.12.4
Wacom Intous Pro M
Mac Mini 2012.

I think it's just a bad choice of default settings in Krita not interpreting a
defult configurated wacom tablet in a sensible way. The cursor moves but the
pen point event does not trigger any drawing.

Thanks for your report. The problems you describe are probably unrelated:
KWallet is summoned by Akonadi, which is started automatically at login in the
background. Have you ever had this kind of crash in more recent versions? I
think quite some crash-on-exit problems have been fixed in the past 1,5 years.

If this still happens to you, would you please state your version number and
provide a more recent backtrace with debug packages installed? Ideally, you'd
just paste the backtrace to the end of your comment. There's also the "Add an
attachment" link above the Comment box, but backtraces as attachments only make
it harder to search them.

Probably a duplicate of Bug 357030.

Thank you for your report. In the backtraces you gave, quite some debug symbols
are missing, so you probably need to install some debug packages.

Are you still able to reproduce this? If so, can you provide a more complete
backtrace? Which version (kmail --version) do you have installed?

I'm not sure about arch... Never used it. But I also never tried to build with
distro packages of PyQt and Python on OpenSUSE, only with home-built packages
where PyQt and sip are in a special location.

In all cases, you can set PYQT_SIP_DIR_OVERRIDE on the cmake command line to
the right location, and the build should succeed, if the version of sip is
correct.

Hi Jonas,

You really need to give more information since, obviously, that works fine on
my test macbook pro, otherwise I wouldn't have released the binaries. Which
version of OSX are you using? What kind of mac? Which wacom tablet?

[amarok] [Bug 337849] Last played time not updated on some tracks

2017-04-11 Thread robert marshall
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337849

Interesting but I've not noticed it happening recently (and I almost always
have dynamic mode enabled), the track I reported it for has a last played date
of Nov 2016 which suggests it is now being updated.
On my work install of amarok I can see this behaviour on certain tracks
(predictable and always .ogg) but it doesn't happen on the home install I was
wondering if it was something to do with the backends.
(I've also moved machines at home from a 32 bit to a 64 bit install - as
another data point, but work - where I can see it is a 64 bit install)
