https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373440 kde.b...@beasimone.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kde.b...@beasimone.com --- Comment #27 from kde.b...@beasimone.com --- Hi, I just upgraded to kubuntu zesty with konsole 16.12.3 and am experiencing the same problems, i.e.: - with "Run all Konsole windows in a single process" disabled, a new window opens - with "Run all Konsole windows in a single process" enabled, a new tab is opened, but I can't use the -e option. In general, it seems to me is that when issuing the command konsole --hold --new-tab -e 'cmd args' konsole opens a new tab and in it tries to run 'cmd konsole' instead of 'cmd args', therefore the 'cmd' fails because it doesn't recognise 'konsole' as an argument. This makes konsole unusable to me, as I mostly use it with the '-e ssh host' option. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379042 --- Comment #3 from Elvis Angelaccio--- I did not blame you. All I said is this is not a bug in Dolphin, but in breeze-icons (so you are right that the fix is not in Dolphin 16.04.2). [trojita] [Bug 321387] Option for switching to next message after deleting one
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321387 --- Comment #2 from Jan Kundrát--- Git commit 7179c38fbff9c5e881112e381731bdc29b0530d5 by Jan Kundrát, on behalf of Roland Pallai. Committed on 21/04/2017 at 20:05. Pushed by gerrit into branch 'master'. Move cursor to the next message after current one disappears A big inconvience for keyboard usability if the cursor forgets last position when the current message disappeared from message list. It also prevents next/previous message actions to function. This patch using an unobtrusive approach to this problem, moves the cursor to the next message but does not activate it. The user can activate with return key or can navigate towards. This way it does not interfere with automatic read marking nor habits of users. [valgrind] [Bug 378931] Add ISA 3.0B additional isnstructions, add OV32, CA32 setting support
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378931 --- Comment #1 from Carl Love--- Created attachment 105140 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=105140=edit ISA 3.0 additional instructions, fixes code changes only The attached patch adds the needed support for the additional instructions. It also adds support for the OV32 and CA32 bits to the existing arithmetic instructions. The issue here with the OV32 and CA32 bit is several of the existing test cases will now run differently on pre ISA3.0 HW versus ISA3.0 HW. Valgrind will match the functionality of the pre ISA3.0 and ISA3.0 HW. The older test cases were refactored to put the instructions that don't change into one test and the instruction that change into another. This way we can now mininimize the size of the expect files for pre ISA 3.0 and ISA3.0 results. These changes to the test code is included in the patch. I have not bothered to post the patch with the changes to the expect files. I don't think that is of much interest but will be included when the patch is applied. [Powerdevil] [Bug 378445] kscreenlocker_greet occasionally freezes in malloc in signal handler
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378445 --- Comment #10 from r...@alum.mit.edu --- Note that frame 5 is a signal handler, so it's hardly surprising that frame 4 and frame 7 are unrelated. I don't know this code, but it sure looks to me like something (in the second trace, isValidBusName; in the first case, probably something different but I didn't have debug symbols installed) was in the middle of free'ing something, during which time kscreenlocker_greet() received a signal, and the signal handler did a new QQmlProperty while the memory allocator was locked by the free() called synchronously above it, so we have a deadlock. My own guess -- and obviously this isn't my code -- is that something in kscreenlocker_greet has set a signal handler (possibly a timeout) that is allocating memory -- a no-no, unless you're using a re-entrant version of malloc. I'm pretty certain I had the right -debuginfo packages installed; rpm does the version checking quite well. And I don't think it's bad memory either; the problem is consistently within the signal handler within kscreenlocker_greet, and I don't see any other indications of bad memory on the system. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-plasma] [Bug 378381] Help --> About KDE doesn't show information about installed KDE
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378381 --- Comment #2 from Kevin Coonan--- Not exactly. I use openSUSE w/ Zypper, so I live in the world of a million repositories. I try, very hard, to use a single repo for all my KDE apps, as past experience has shown that even the exact same version, from different repo (different build/linking???) of a component that differs from the rest can crash plasma. Being able to check and see that I am at lease using the same version of KMail, Konqeror (which I still like better than Dolphin, esp. once all the icon display, text menu display, loss of side bar, screwed up time/date format and all the other KDE4->KDE5/Qt5 regressions are fixed...ahem), KOrganizer, etc. etc. Part of this is my own making, but there are apps in various repos not in the standard build ones that I need, or versions which fix problems or add functionality I need. How hard would it be to show the Qt version, KDE framework version, Plasma version, and application version? It would avoild 95% of my bug reports which come back to me with some snooty email that tells me that I shouldn't mix and match component versions (a consitant versioning, or at least letting users know which versions of the various applications will work together would be fantastic) and to switch some component to the same repo the others came from. openSUSE doesn't do a great job with letting you know this--I think Zypper just trusts whatever the required version of some dependency is based on the documentation developers provide, but is confusing as hell to have some common application listed 5 times and having to dig into the repo, dependency, and versioning info to figure out which version of Akonadi I need. Don't get me wrong, I am not going to go back to one of the RedHat or Debian/Ubuntu flavors, and don't have time for Arch--I really like openSUSE esp. with OBS working and Tumbleweed. YaST and Zypper are awesome, but make it too easy to get into dependency issues that can be subtle and heard to track down if you cannot read the crash reports yourself.
