Hi,

I use a lot HDMI, so every time I want to change my audio output I have to go
to audio settings to change it, as it didn't change it automatically :) which
is fine. But it would be much quicker if we could change audio profile from
plasmoid in systry directly.

Same here. Plasma 5.11.5 on ArchLinux. Don't think this is a Spectacle problem,
but is how the image is scaled in the notification plasmoid. Screenshots that
are much wider than tall are the least blurry, and screenshots that are much
taller than wide are the most blurry.

Oh, I think you're just using an older version of Plasma that lacks this
feature. We rewrote large bits of it for Plasma 5.10. So stay tuned for the
next Plasma LTS 5.12 due in a couple of weeks.

When the kscreen kcm on wayland gets closed (by closing systemsettings or
switching to a different module), systemsettings5 dies with a wayland protocol
error.

When instead of closing the kcm you go back and open the kcm again (sometimes

But DrKonqi is useful in some cases even when there’s no debug symbols, right?
Otherwise, I could ask the Arch Linux devs to remove it from a few groups and

I can confirm this bug with ATSC epg in Kaffeine version 2.0.14 using the mtron
package from launchpad.net on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS and the Arch Linux package
version 2.0.14-1 from the "Community" repository on a continuously updated Arch
installation. 

The "Title" is missing in the epg Program Guide on all stations 

Procedure to replicate is the same as described by awf_ul but I have also
noticed that the ability to record by selecting the item and clicking the
"Record Show" button does not work. 

I have tried this with multiple tuners with the same effect on different
stations in Los Angeles CA, Dallas TX, Boston MA and Hilo HI with the same
results. I have also tested using config.dvb and sqlite.db files from working
2.0.13 installation and the titles appear until the guide is updated or becomes
outdated. Starting with no config.dvb or sqlite.db file and a clean scan and no
titles appear. 

Checking or unchecking the "Use ISO 8859-1 charset instead of ISO 6937" option
has no effect, even after restarting Kaffeine after making the change. 

I'm able to test patches or manual edits on my Arch Linux system to help crush
this bug.

This is not a duplicate of either 353874 or 362226. This bug seems to describe
that more work than is necessary is required to get a config change to take
effect. This could possibly be solved by stopping baloo, killing the remaining
baloo* processes, and restarting baloo, which should reload the config.
Restarting baloo is known to sometimes leave remaining processes open thus
preventing a clean restart and a complete re-evaluation of the config.

1) All the settings are gray except Acceleration. Wanted to increase the speed.

Graphic image of a Konqueror window and callout balloon to the cause of crash.

Selecting 'Close View' in the Context Menu from the bottom of the Konqueror
window causes crash every time.

The same function icon 'Close Active View' in the Toolbar works fine.

The attached image has a callout balloons near the menu selection that causes
the crash every time and near an icon with the same function that works OK.

Yes, I'm not sure what's the best UI there. It's more like we should be able to
sort the sources by preference. i.e. having 1 main source doesn't really solve
it because we can have an application that is available on several sources,
just not on the main one.

Kirigami is responsible for rendering the icons.
That said, it also may be that the icons are too low-res. AppStream only offers
resolutions up to 128²px.
I'll look deep into this issue soon when I get a new laptop with a high dpi
screen.

Yes, I'm using nvidia proprietary drivers.

I was misleaded because the failure doesn't produce any dmesg or journal log.

This happen all the times when I leave my computer and it turns off the screen
and I resume the PC.

The display getsdistorted and then the program crashesh. My desktop background
is gone

I am using neon 5.1.5

The crash can be reproduced every time.

This is a small test of what it would look like. As you can see, there are only
a few signs left and with this lens the type is still unknown by the
abbreviation. A two line view might be possible.

This will be implemented in Plasma release after the LTS. I didn't want to
introduce new features in this release - just to polish the existing ones.

As for changing the path to encrypted directory - that will not be allowed from
the UI. For that, you'll have to dig through the config file. I guess
documenting this somewhere might be beneficial.

You will have to open pkmon before opening discover:
$ pkmon
$ plasma-discover

Another thing to try is to call:
plasma-discover --backends packagekit-backend

To make sure it's PK that is failing and not others.

I had wiped the original flash drive and when I just tried it with a different
one I couldn't reproduce the problem. The error would only show up the first
time I clicked on "Open in File Manager"—after that it was fine and I could
browse it without problems. Maybe there's a race condition somewhere? I'm not
sure. I changed the priority to minor since it seems to depend on the flash
drive.

Now, first things first - you are not getting logged out because kamd crashes,
kamd crashes because your session crashed. (kamd is quite nice in that regard -
it, and most apps that use it are designed to continue working normally on
'connection-to-kamd-loss')

I'm not sure what can be the problem why the session gets killed when ram is
full. Are you using proprietary nvidia drivers?

Have you tried to set the swappiness to allow swap to be used more?

On X11 a context menu was always above all other windows which also created a
fair amount of problems. Here we try to just stack it above, but well that
seems to break.

on my blog someone suggested using window specific rules. That is a good idea
IMHO. It could even allow to match all X windows.

The order of sessions in the File > Sessions list and the File > Sessions >
Manage... list appears to be the order of session creation time rather then the
order of sessions in the directory ~/.local/share/konqueror/sessions.

REMINDER: the DEPRECATED Settings > Load Profile | Manage Profiles displayed
profiles in the same order as the directory
~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/profiles.
