This specific issue, i.e. the build failure in the oscar protocol, was fixed --
hence closing.

As Rex said, wlm is dead for a long time already, and even libmsn is not useful
anymore now. Just stop building wlm in kopete, and drop libmsn from slackware.

BookMan: Fixed various issues related to bookmark reloading from file

Changed importFromFile function which is called after Bookmark Manager
sends the signal that bookmarks are modified and should be reloaded.
Now we don't delete bookmarks unless they are fake bookmarks (folders or
separators). By keeping the original actions and updating them on reload
we keep bindings with different systems like toolbars and shortcuts.

Sorry, this it just how KMessageWidgets work. If they didn't move the content
down, they'd instead obscure the content, and then other people (or even you!)
would complain about that! GNOME-style popovers also obscure the content, FWIW.
There's really no way to design a dynamically appearing message manner that
neither moves nor obscures anything.

Is there any way to re-open this issue. Whereas it is understandable that some
kmail devs may want the html bar displayed by default in emails, there seems to
be no real justification, or at least a satisfactory one, for removing the
ability to change that default behavior. 

Note: I speak as one who uses and likes the html bar feature. I just don't
think that it was reasonable to remove the ability to customize kmail,
especially when there was no development cost that we know of(i.e. option that
was already in place).

I think the original report is about different functionality, viz., the ability
to annotate a hand-written signature into the document, much like macOS's
Preview can do, and online software such as Hellosign can do.

Having this feature would mean one could avoid having to sign a document by
hand, scan it, and then email/upload it.

When the "Terminal tool view" plugin is enabled and a project is opened, there
are two terminal widgets shown; "Terminal" and the one in "Current Project".

A possible solution would be to  check for the "Current Project" terminal tool
view and disable the "Terminal" plugin.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable the "Terminal tool view" plugin
2. Open a project in Kate
3. Click the "Current Project" button

Hm, I think we have a more general problem here: Custom UI elements, not
drawing in the chosen widget style and breaking if new features in the
underlying libraries are introduced (in this case icon colors automatically
adapting to the colour scheme, see
http://notmart.org/blog/2016/05/icon-colors/).

Either we continue playing catch-up and fix things occasionally, or we stop
rolling our own. However, the latter might be a lot of work too.

In https://phabricator.kde.org/D7988 we simply switched to normal buttons
instead of the custom ones, because we could not find a better way. However,
this sadly resulted in the mouse over effect being hardly visible now…

If Huoni could actually find a way to only fix the icon colours, that would be
good enough for now, IMO, and we could think about changing it back for the
hover overlays too (and maybe a flatter look).

If the icon colours are unfixable indeed, we'd need to put more thoughts into a
new design (style and colour), which would have to be consistent everywhere it
is used (hover buttons, video overlay, compare mode, "you have reached the end"
message, etc.).

it was updating and then I click 'Plasma-lisäosat'-button and it was searching
things for the Plasma and then just turn off.

The crash does not seem to be reproducible.

Krita can't find brush presets

I've installed and uninstalled the program 4 times and it will not stop giving
me this error message. I've asked for help on the subreddit to no avail.
According to my research, this has occurred with Krita Gemini (which I don't
use) but the file that fixed it in that instance apparently doesn't exist for
the 64 bit Windows version.

Dbgview Log File

Okay, please bear with me as I am not a programmer.  I downloaded the debugview
and launched it, then launched kmymoney.  I then attempted to print with my
printer and got the same error message.  I then tried printing to a pdf driver.
 The only one that would work was the microsoft print to pdf.  I have Adobe and
Nitro PDF Creator as well and neither of them would work either.  I saved the
file from the debugview.  It's attached.  I've also noticed that after I get
the error to my actual printer, I have to restart the printer before I can
print from any other programs as well.

the backtrace is very strange.

Can you try running okular under valgrind

valgrind okular myfile.pdf

and attaching the output you get when doing the same steps?

Thanks for reporting this, which is unrelated to the initial reported problem. 

KMyMoney depends on some background processes which provide io services, which
are started automatically along with kmymoney, but will stay in memory after
kmymoney shutdown. To avoid that, an additional background app is automatically
started by default, watching kmymoney shutdown and if detected, after a few
seconds shut down all running background processes and itself. The command box
you are seeing indicates that.

To get some more informations about this issue you may start Dbgview
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/debugview in front of
KMymoney. If this does report any useful informations,
please run kdebugdialog fron the bin sub folder of the kmymoney installation
folder and enable all categories. Then start kmymoney from a command prompt, on
which internal messages should be displayed. Pleas try to print as pdf and the
problematic printer and see if some useful informations are available.

kdebugdialog --fullmode can also be used to specify different output device for
debug messages.

Ubuntu 14.04 is (at least theoretically) supported by Canonical, not KDE. The
ancient KDE software shipped in Ubuntu 14.04 is not supported by KDE. Feel free

that it won't go anywhere, I'm afraid...

Opening a file on the desktop called "[#GNU]archive.txt" works fine for me in

[KUserProxy] Adjust to accounts service

The avatar can also lie in the accounts service directory. Monitor there and
also monitor for removal.
Also in the handler check all paths we monitor rather than faceIconPath which
might be empty due to the file having been removed.
