[systemsettings] [Bug 394747] Tabs should not be hidden when we scroll
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394747 --- Comment #6 from Nate Graham --- So my thought for conceptually how to fix this would be to size the scrollview according to the sizeHint of the KCM within it, bounded by the screen size. So in the case of the powerdevil KCM for example, people with 1366x768 screens would get a vertical scrollbar instead of having the bottom cut off like it was before. But they wouldn't get a horizontal scrollbar that would result in tabs getting cut off, because the whole thing can fit within the 1366 horizontal pixels that they have. For example, I should be able to choose which firefox window to switch to by hovering over the launcher, then choosing a thumbnail. However, as you can see, those thumbnails fail to load. Thumbnails work just fine for programs with only one window open. Currently I must either use alt-tab to find the window I want, or click the launcher icon, then move the cursor a (comparatively) great distance across the screen to pick the window. What makes this super strange is that occasionally, the thumbnails will work as expected, but if I move the cursor out of the dock, then back, the thumbnails will be gone again.
