https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398671 --- Comment #9 from Christoph Cullmann --- Yeah, that is fixed. But just to confirm: you can still fold all things that should be foldable, the only issue that is there is that some lines have markers that have nothing to fold (as e.g. for (..) the region ends in the same line as it starts). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 398605] Closing the 'find' toolbar should clear search field
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398605 --- Comment #2 from Kishore Gopalakrishnan --- Personally, I feel that it is more in line with the user's expectations to not highlight search terms once the search bar is closed (this is the case in browser 'find' toolbars, for instance). Perhaps there should be a 'minimize' button if the user wants to hide the bar without clearing the field. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but there is currently no simple way to dismiss both the bar and the search term highlights once I find what I'm searching for. I frequently find myself searching for something, finding what I want, closing the toolbar, and then having to open it again after noticing that the search terms are still highlighted. Even if I were to somehow break this habit, I would still have to manually clear the search field before closing the search bar each time. One way to accomodate both our usecases would be to keep the search term as it is in the search field even after it is closed, but somehow make sure that the terms in the document aren't highlighted when the bar is closed. However, I'm not sure if this would be easy or difficult to implement. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This will look better in all places except for as the icon used for Kickoff's Leave tab. To make sure we don't regress that, let's create a new icon for that in system.svgz with a new name that's identical to the existing icon. If we do this quickly, we'll have 4-5 months to notify the 3rd-party icon themes so that they can adapt accordingly before Plasma 5.15 is released (probably most can just symlink an existing icon). I'm open to other ways of resolving the problem if the approach proposed here isn't a good idea. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398742 Bug ID: 398742 Summary: Add opaque round background behind power-related icons in system.svgz Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Theme - Breeze Assignee: visual-des...@kde.org Reporter: n...@kde.org CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 115027 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=115027=edit Generally what we want This bug tracks action item #1 from https://phabricator.kde.org/T9444#160267. The problem: The Plasma Breeze theme icons used on the SDDM login screen don't have a solid background of any sort, so their contrast can be poor when put on top of certain images and colors when there is no blur. For example, a white icon on top a light-colored image can be almost invisible. Affected icons are: - system-shutdown - system-reboot - system-suspend - system-hibernate - system-lock-screen - system-log-out - system-switch-user (for this icon, we would also like additional changes - see Bug 398741) These icons live in system.svgz in the Breeze Plasma theme. We'd like *for the large versions only* of these icons to have a solid-colored circle as their background. I am attaching an exceptionally crude before-and-after mockup of the kind of thing we're looking for The Breeze light version should use the colors #FCFCFC for the background circle, and #232629 for the icon. The Breeze dark version should use #232629 for the background and #FCFCFC for the icon. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kate] [Bug 398731] New: Search wrapped info message at wrong position
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398731 Bug ID: 398731 Summary: Search wrapped info message at wrong position Product: kate Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: part Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: david.hu...@mailbox.org Target Milestone: --- When incrementally searching using the find bar, the info message appears in the middle of the text area, sometimes hiding the found result. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open a large text file 2) Search a word that occurs in the middle of a line using the find bar 3) Hit Enter (find next) until the search continues from top Result: The info message appears in the middle, covering the middle of the centered search result. Additionally it stays there for a long time, and blocks/queues other info messages. Expected result: Info messages appear instantly at the top/bottom next to the scroll bar with the text "Continuing search from top/bottom", like it did until some days ago. This feature is annoying because: I need to jump through long dataset summary files, where many datasets look very similar. One dataset is lokated some pages below the other, and I want to compare them. I use the search bar to jump between them. Now, this centered info message doesn't change and hides the dataset number, so I don't know where I am just now. Unfortunately I couldn't downgrade katepart via aptitude, so I don't know which module causes the problem. But I think it's katepart. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398728 --- Comment #13 from Haochen Tong --- (In reply to Michail Vourlakos from comment #12) > Plasma devs propose to not be used anymore because it breaks too many > things. One of which is the window geometries. The white box is your video > is a miscalculated area for Blur effect. The reason of the miscalculations > is PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING, more issues are created also because of that > variable Thanks for pointing that out, I'm not aware of that. Now I disabled PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING, and the white bar was gone. As for the PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING itself, I enabled it because Plasma panel and context menu icon would be very small otherwise. It looks like Plasma devs are fixing bugs so that Plasma can eventually use Qt scaling. I've done 2 commits in master: https://cgit.kde.org/gcompris.git/commit/?id=5015b56bc291f9e89f8946b904c1b74ba91d7598 to have new command line options software-renderer and opengl-renderer to switch the renderer. https://cgit.kde.org/gcompris.git/commit/?id=a9282b2c9bf6fbd55c529c05500de68bdce17c9f that should display a window if openGL fails at start up and switch to software renderer after a restart (well, as I can't test, I supposed that the function is at least called and we can store in the settings the new mode) Unfortunately, I can't test the second fix, so if by any chance you can compile from master and tell if it works, it would be nice.
