I've been using Shift+Tab as a shortcut for "Next Session" action. Starting from KDE Applications 19.04.0 / KF 5.57 pressing Shift+Tab in Yakuake causes "ambigious shortcut" warning. I checked all Global Shortcuts for Shift+Tab entry and found none. I also removed Shift+Tab binding in Konsole, but that didn't help. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 406793] New: Cannot close cash and saving accounts even with balance=0
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406793 Bug ID: 406793 Summary: Cannot close cash and saving accounts even with balance=0 Product: kmymoney Version: 4.7.2 Platform: Mint (Debian based) OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: lp.allar...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I have a cash account that I used as a brokerage account for investment contributions. Basically, I had a schedule that transferred an amount every other week from my chequing account to this cash account, and once in a while I was performing stocks purchases from this account. The balance of this account was normally zero (since it was only to temporarily hold money). I have terminated this plan with the investment firm so naturally I have sold everything in KMM so the investment account balance = 0, then closed the account and deleted the scheduled transaction. For some reasons, I cannot close the brokerage/cash account. KMM wont let me. How to proceed with finding the root cause of this? I have opened my kmy file as xml and found the relevant section for this account: Unfortunately, searching the xml file for the account ID yielded 756 results... Not so helpful. STEPS TO REPRODUCE See description above. OBSERVED RESULT Cannot close cash account although its balance is ZERO and no scheduled transactions are using it. EXPECTED RESULT Unused accounts with balance=0 should be closed without issues. BTW, the reason for the lack of version numbers on Flathub is because they read the release key from the app's AppStream data. [lattedock] [Bug 406789] [Feature Request] Show only minimized tasks
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406789 --- Comment #2 from Carson Black --- Let's say one user is creating a setup that is supposed to resemble macOS. They use Latte as their dock and want functionality similar to how macOS handles minimizing (the windows do the classic "genie effect" and shrink to fit into a thumbnail on the dock). While using show only minimized tasks, a similar effect can be done, albeit with an icon instead of a window thumbnail. Considering the popularity of setups that try to copy macOS, this seems like something that could be used to enhance the quality of those setups. You can see an example of a setup that could be possible with the Latte plasmoid here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLDwXNiU9gs [the setup is using the icons only task manager as a substitute for the latte plasmoid] Another user could use the functionality to recreate the iconify effect found in WMs like TWM, where windows don't minimize, rather, they shrink into a newly created icon somewhere on the desktop. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[okular] [Bug 406237] PDFs get an added margin when printing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406237 Matthew Trescott changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|DUPLICATE |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #5 from Matthew Trescott --- Okay, this is NOT a duplicate. Please read it carefully and test it for yourself. The default settings still produce poor results, although it as now at least possible to get suitable output. The main problem seems to be that Okular defaults to A4 paper regardless of the paper size of the input document. - On physical printers, Okular seems to ignore the paper size setting in the Printer Properties dialog. - When using Print to PDF, Okular defaults to A4 even when the input document size is Letter. Changing the paper size in Printer Properties actually takes effect, however. However, even when the paper size for Print to PDF is corrected (set to Letter in my case), enabling "Force rasterization" produces incorrect results when the following scaling settings are used: - "Fit to printable area" results in the entire document being scaled down, although the margins are already more than sufficient for printing. - "Print original size" shifts the entire document down and to the right. To summarize, the only settings that produce normal print output for a standard 8.5 x 11" document are either: - Print to PDF with the paper size manually set to Letter instead of A4 _AND_ "Force rasterization" disabled. - Print to PDF with the paper size manually set to Letter instead of A4 _AND_ "Force rasterization" enabled _AND_ scaling set to "Fit to full page" I don't mean to be the unhappy customer when I didn't pay for the software, but in the future it would be nice to have bug reports verified fixed before they're closed as duplicates. It would make reporting bugs so much easier if I didn't have to put this much effort into proving to developers that the bug exists. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I.e. if we are replying with a > copy of those parts, and they were encrypted, they should be copied "as is". > This would prevent any newly-added recipient from reading those, but that's > fair enough I would say. > I wouldn't really know how to implement this though. > Might be tricky if the tree in memory only has the decrypted version. > > - Alternatively, KMail could say "for security reasons, these parts are > going to be removed from your reply". But this also requires that we somehow > know that these parts used to be encrypted in the original email. Both things are not that hard to solve. We have MimeTreeParser::ObjecttreeParser that returns a MessagePart tree. This is a tree, where only visual interesting nodes of the Mime messages with the additional information of each node, about their encrypted status, used keys etc... To get an idea about those trees look at mimetreeparser/autotests/data/*tree files, these are the MessagePart tree for the corresponding mbox. Also TemplateParser, that is responsible for creating a reply/template, uses MimeTreeParser::ObjecttreeParser, so we are able to filter out bad nodes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmail2] [Bug 404698] Decryption Oracle based on replying to PGP or S/MIME encrypted emails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404698 --- Comment #13 from Sandro Knauß --- @Jens: what version did you test? You set "Debian Stable" and "5.10.3" this does not match. Debian stable has 16.04.3 aka 5.2.3. I now started to look into the issue, but I can't reproduce it with the attached messages for 18.08.3 nor for master. At least for the encrypted content to be simple text. Do I need to construct a mimetree inside the encrypted message parts? And this make totally sense, as we have already have the concept of firstTextNode inside ObjectTreeParser, that takes effect here. I added the proof-of-concept mails to our autotests: https://phabricator.kde.org/D20757 the plain.reply files are the output of the reply window. For those you have a test environment for messagelib, those can view such mails and reply/forward: GNUPGHOME=/messagecore/autotests/gnupg_home/ kmail --view 404698-gpg.mbox A short explanation, how a reply/forward is created (everything in messagelib): * templateparser/src/templateparserjob constructs a new KMime::Message mMsg from a given mOrigMsg. * TemplateParserJob uses MimeTreeParser::ObjectTreeParser to get htmlContent/plainTextContent. At least for plainTextContent it is easy to follow, that only the content from first text node is used. For htmlContent it looks, like we merge different htmlNodes via messagepart.cpp:HtmlMessagePart::fix() -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
