[konsole] [Bug 407447] Global shortcut for toggling visibility of Konsole
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407447 --- Comment #5 from jmu --- After years of using Yakuake I started to look Konsole again because I felt that Yakuake is no longer under active development whereas Konsole is(?) For example, I've been often bit by this issues: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356853 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386350 (duplicate) https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392929 (duplicate) Which still exists, despite being reported years ago. And that is certainly something I don't know how to fix by myself. But thanks for the comments - I will also look into code editor terminals (like VS Code) that does provide functionality I'm after. Feel free to close this issue if you find it differentiating Konsole's vision. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407229 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED CC||n...@kde.org Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Nate Graham --- This makes the most sense in a list view, where the up and down arrow keys can be used to select any file. In icons view, it makes less sense since the left and right arrow keys are required for navigation there, but those need to be used in the filter text field for text editing. I suppose we could add a special non-optimal icon view navigation mode where the up and down arrow keys go left and right instead, and take advantage of the fact that left and right wrap aroung to the next/previous rows. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krusader] [Bug 407475] New: Search dialog hides the KrViewer opened from it
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407475 Bug ID: 407475 Summary: Search dialog hides the KrViewer opened from it Product: krusader Version: 2.7.1 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: search Assignee: krusader-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gmb5...@gmail.com CC: krusader-bugs-n...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 120024 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=120024=edit You can see on the image that the background window has the focus and cursor SUMMARY Search dialog hides the KrViewer opened from it. When you search in a directory and open KrViewer (by pressing F3 or F4) on one of the resulting files, then the viewer window opens BEHIND the search dialog instead of above it. The focus and cursor move to the KrViewer window, yet the search dialog still appears above it. The search dialog acts as if its 'always on top' property was switched on. [konsole] [Bug 406895] After session restoration, tab switching shortcuts don't work until Konsole is restarted once
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406895 Johannes Hirte changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED CC||johannes.hirte@datenkhaos.d ||e --- Comment #5 from Johannes Hirte --- This is only half of the fix. When closing the plasma session and reopening, all tabs except one are still showing ":-" as their title. Additionally those tabs are losing their path where they were in filesystem. If the tabs are activated, the path and title are restored. If not, and the plasma session is closed again, the path is lost after reopening a new session. When the tabs are activated, the path is located in the home directory of the user. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
