which exact Windows version is this? A local collection needs to be mounted
before starting Amarok, if you just moved it physically from one disk to
another outside Amarok this will not work, you will have to rescan it.

Unfortunately you do not have debugging symbols installed, so the backtrace is
not really helpful. I presume you compiled the kf5-port of Amarok yourself as
it is not released yet, so you will have to rebuild it with debugging enabled.

FWIW, Current Amarok master is not released yet, the software is pretty much in
alpha stage lacking the port of the context view. Crashes are to be expected

Hey, could you see if you can provide a backtrace?

Instructions are here:

We can use the backtrace as a blackbox to figure out where Krita is crashing
and then more efficiently fix the issue.

[Discover] [Bug 407807] Discover says it is offline when tryint to update

2019-08-19 Thread davehill
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407807

Either use NetworkManager to manage at least one network interface or disable
it.

Checked for reports of PackageKit error and found lots. It seems that
PackageKit looks to NetworkManager for online status. If NetworkManager is not
managing any network interface (nmcli d), PackageKit concludes its off-line.
Disabling NetWorkManager is said to fix the problem:
https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/issues/8477.
sudo systemctl disable NetworkManager.service

That works on my machine.

Mine is a Xen host, so I need finer control of the network interface than is
available in NetworkManager, so I don't use it. Disabling it was fine for my
needs at least. It sounds like another solution might be to actually manage the
network interface with NetworkManager.

I uploaded the GIF file I used. I would also like to mention that I encountered
the bug on 2 other systems. One of them has Manjaro Linux installed and the
other has Windows 7. I think the Manjaro one wasn't on the latest version (I
think it was on 18 rather than 19.04) however the Windows 7 one was using the
latest version.

[kmymoney] [Bug 410994] Losing transactions after 8000+ DB to KmyFile

2019-08-19 Thread Ralf Habacker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410994

So you are saying that your primary file is a kmy or xml file and after
exporting to sqlite the sqlite database is broken ?

I did the opposite and took the "sql lite db sample" sqlite database as primary
source. I added some debug code to
void MyMoneyStorageXML::writeTransaction(QDomElement& transaction, const
MyMoneyTransaction& tx)
{
  if (tx.memo() == "T008308")
  qDebug() << tx.memo();
  tx.writeXML(*m_doc, transaction);
}

did set a breakpoint at the qDebug() output and exported the sqlite database to
an xml file.
I saw that transaction 'T008308' has 2 splits while the next
account related transaction 'T008311' did not have any splits
although the loaded sql database showed that it should have. I used the
following sql command to get the splits:

select kmmSplits.splitId, kmmSplits.accountId, kmmSplits.postDate,
kmmTransactions.id from kmmSplits, kmmTransactions where
kmmSplits.transactionId = kmmTransactions.id

0|A000331|2019-07-08|T008308
1|A000291|2019-07-08|T008308
..
0|A000331|2019-07-10|T008311

It looks to me that exporting to an kml or xml file from a sqlite database is
also broken independently from an import into a sqlite database.

[kdemultimedia] [Bug 368883] When Bluetooth autoconnect the audio device is not added

2019-08-19 Thread Guo Yunhe
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368883

Just had time to debug this further.

The bluetooth module is Bluez, running as a systemd service: bluetoothd. So I
can get the system log by running `sudo journalctl | grep bluetooth`.

Then I got the log during I auto connect the bluetooth headset:

23:14:01 thinkpad-t480 bluetoothd[1896]: Unable to get io data for Headset
Voice gateway: getpeername: Transport endpoint is not connected (107)
23:14:02 thinkpad-t480 dbus-daemon[953]: [system] Rejected send message, 1
matched rules; type="method_return", sender=":1.37" (uid=1000 pid=2239
comm="/usr/bin/pulseaudio --daemonize=no ") interface="(unset)"
member="(unset)" error name="(unset)" requested_reply="0" destination=":1.11"
(uid=0 pid=1896 comm="/usr/lib/bluetooth/bluetoothd ")

So here are some errors in Bluez. It tried to connect the headset but for some
reason cannot get the data. So I think this is an upstream bug in Bluez.

I am trying to forward the bug to Bluez developers.

I've attached xml file and screenshots of steps.

1 - User open anonymizer.xml file
2 - User check reports, ledger
3 - User save as sqlite, close KMY and open again (now sqlite file)
4 - Orphan splits are found in sqlite (dbBrowser)
select * from kmmTransactions where id not in (select distinct
transactionId from kmmSplits)
5 - User cannot see latest transaction on reports, but
NOTE: there is no but on step 3 I forget to close and reopen, so,
database file wasn't fully reload)
6 - User save as kmy file and Close KMY
7 - User Open kmy file and go to ledger
8 - Transactions missing

It may not help any, but I would stick to number of shares in this discussion.
If you talk value, you have to consider that it is (should be?) calculated
using the most recent price for each stock, which is not necessarily the price
used in the buy transaction.

> This sounds possibly related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404753
> (about the display not updating in a report after editing multiple

> switch to some different view (say reports or payees) and then back to the
> investments view? Or change the ledger to a different account and then back?

So done some more testing. After editing the buy from stock A to stock B, the
value of stock B is increased correctly, it is stock A which does not get
correctly reduced.

Say stock A has £2 of shares and stock B has £10 of shares.
A buy of £1 of stock A shares is done.
Stock A now shows £3 in the investment page and the ledger page.
Stock B shows as having £10 in both the investment and ledger pages.
Edit the buy of stock A to be for stock B.
Stock A still shows as £3 in both pages (incorrectly).
Stock B shows the correct £11 in both pages (correctly).

Switching to other pages, accounts, ledgers, etc makes no difference to the
values reported. The only thing that seems to update the values is restarting
kmymoney.

The underlying problem seems to be the one described in bug #404990.

The workaround mentioned in its 2nd comment, using PLAIN authentication method,
fixes the problem.

The problem has nothing to do with KDE Wallet unlike the very misleading Kmail
error -- that's why I'm not marking this bug as a duplicate.

"@Gilles, do you know an application that uses "Xmp.lr.HierarchicalSubject"
with capital letter (H)and as TAG_XMPSEQ? I think that the 2nd alternative in
our advanced metadata should actually be for Darktable and the capital letter
is just a mistake."

You right. The H capitalized is a mistake :
https://www.exiv2.org/tags-xmp-lr.html

i'm sure that Exiv2 has used 'H' in the past...

But wait a minute... Exiftool use 'H'... ahaha

I have this too. It seemed to come with upgrade from Debian 9 to 10 last week.
Apper has a similar message ("There is no network connection available. Please
check your connection settings and try again.").

Workaround: use apt or apt-get (haven't tried other tools)

Here's what Info Centre says about my setup:

[krita] [Bug 331789] Cropping image makes perpective, ellipse, ruler, spline assistants loose alignment.

2019-08-19 Thread Dmitry Kazakov

Git commit 67b2738002a3cd50b532af257c368bbe6344199a by Dmitry Kazakov.
Committed on 19/08/2019 at 17:27.
Pushed by dkazakov into branch 'kazakov/transformable-decorations-bug-331789'.

Implement transformation of the Grid when image is transformed

Basically, we implement a fake layer (KisDecorationsWrapperLayer),
which accepts all the transformations and tries to transform decorations
(only grids are implemented atm).

There is a tricky thing: tranformations are undoable, but modifications
to grids are not! Therefore we should be really careful about transforming
grids. We cannot just save their state, like we plan to do for all the
vector objects. Instead, we should apply inverted transformation during
undo operation.

[plasmashell] [Bug 411073] New: Scale preview popup according to icon size

2019-08-19 Thread Thiago Sueto
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411073

Bug ID: 411073
Summary: Scale preview popup according to icon size
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.16.4
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Folder
  Assignee: h...@kde.org
  Reporter: herzensch...@gmail.com
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
I use the Folder View widget at work to access the Documents and Downloads
folder as well as samba share'd folders to have quick access to files without
opening Dolphin.
As such, the folder preview popup feature where you click an upwards arrow to
access the folders inside the widget's standard folders is really useful; I
make this widget use almost the entire screen space of the laptop while I work
on a full HD monitor. I also scaled folder icons according to each folder.
However, the arrow pointing upwards is not scaled with icon size and is pretty
small, requiring really precise mouse movement and clicks. It seems to occupy
about 2% of each folder icon when they're at their maximum size. I think it
would be more convenient if it was bigger.

I just did that and I cannot confirm the dates you report for the sqlite file.
I do see exactly the ones that you report for the kmy file. A000331 attached as
an example.
