[krita] [Bug 420600] New: Krita 4.3.0 Preserve Alpha Colorsmudge Opacity Affected by Smudge Length
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420600 Bug ID: 420600 Summary: Krita 4.3.0 Preserve Alpha Colorsmudge Opacity Affected by Smudge Length Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Windows CE OS: Windows CE Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: Brush engines Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: millerrya...@aol.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 127877 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127877=edit Opacity decreases with decreasing smudge length. SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run portable version of krita at this link (https://disk.yandex.com/d/Ei1n9S16faEppg) 2. Create a new file. 3. Create a new smudge brush preset. Make sure that only opacity is controlled by pen pressure. 4. Deselect "Smear alpha" in brush settings under "Smudge Length" 5. Increase Smudge Length to 100% under brush settings. Draw a line on the image file 6. Decrease the smudge length to 75%. You may notice a slight decrease in maximum opacity. 7. Continue decreasing the smudge length in small increments. As the smudge length is decreased, the maximum opacity also decreases. This bug occurs in both dulling mode and smearing mode for the smudge brush. A similar bug was reported in 2014 for Krita 2.8, but it appears to have been fixed. OBSERVED RESULT As the smudge length is decreased the maximum opacity of each dab will also decrease. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[KDb] [Bug 420599] New: KDbNativeStatementBuilder escapes identifiers in a way that KDbParser parses as string literals
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420599 Bug ID: 420599 Summary: KDbNativeStatementBuilder escapes identifiers in a way that KDbParser parses as string literals Product: KDb Version: 3.2.0 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: stan...@kde.org Reporter: jf...@infoblitz.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 127876 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127876=edit Database with a table using SQL keywords as column names and a query showing incorrect results SUMMARY This is a problem for KEXI when building a query based on a table that has columns named after SQL reserved keywords (e.g., “group”). STEPS TO REPRODUCE (IN KEXI 3.2.1) 1. Create a table with a column named “group”; it does not matter its type or whether its primary key or not. 2. Insert any data that column, but avoid “group” as value. 3. Create a new query with only the “group” column from that table. 4. Switch to SQL view and check that the SQL is indeed correct, with group double quoted. 5. Switch to data view 6. Switch back to SQL view OBSERVED RESULT In data view, all rows have the literal string “group” as value of a column named “expr1”. In the second switch to SQL, the query has changed from SELECT "group" FROM source To SELECT 'group' AS expr1 FROM source In the attached database file the SQL query does not changed because it was saved before switching view, but in data mode it still shows all rows with the same incorrect literal string. EXPECTED RESULT In data view, the column should be named “group” and all its values should be the same as in the source table. In SQL, the query should still have the “group” column double quoted and without any alias. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE 15.1 KDE Plasma Version: N/A KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This seems to be a side effect of bug #364950 (SQL: Handle escape sequences in string literals), in where the parser was changed to parse double-quoted strings as literals in order to recognize escape sequences in them. As a quick test, i modified KDbSqlScanner.l from e_str1 (\\\'|\'\'|[^']) e_str2 (\\\"|\"\"|[^"]) string (\'{e_str1}*\'|\"{e_str2}*\") to e_str1 (\\\'|\'\'|[^']) e_str2 (\\\"|\"\"|[^"]) string (\'{e_str1}*\') quoted_identifier (\"{e_str2}*\") plus a new quoted_identifier block, and then KEXI produced the expected result. I am not sure if this is a but of KDb per se; maybe KEXI is just using the wrong components to generate the SQL. Any thoughts on this? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Would be good to use QProcess::setWorkingDirectory() to set WD to the project root, that all the paths in the helper files (e.g. for suppression list option --suppressions-list=) can be relative to the project. Did not check code for other analyzers but for them the same would be also good. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kio-extras] [Bug 420578] kio-discovery-wsd suffix causes failure connecting to Windows 10 host using WS-Discovery
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420578 --- Comment #1 from Myrddin Wyllt --- I'm finding this issue isn't always reproducible. I just tried this again & this time I refreshed after the first successful discovery. Initial discovery always requires one refresh after waiting for smb:// to load. Attempting to browse on initial discovery causes the error in this bug report. Refreshing after initial discovery somehow properly converts the suffix to .local when attempting to brows which after a small eternity (20 seconds), does resolve properly. Typing in HOSTNAME directly resolves almost immediately, so the delay is worth noting. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasma-browser-integration] [Bug 419139] Process runs at 99-100% of core until shutdown and reoccurs again later
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419139 Sebastian Schmidt changed: What|Removed |Added CC||schro...@gmail.com --- Comment #6 from Sebastian Schmidt --- I had the same issue with chromium for quite some while, but never had the time to investigate. The plasma-browser-integration-host process would always run at 100% usage of one core as soon as a video starts playing and the media widget didn't detect the video. However, this never happened with firefox. For me this issue was caused by DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS not being set. I changed the session to "Exec=dbus-run-session /usr/bin/startplasma-x11" instead of "Exec=/usr/bin/startplasma-x11". I'm not sure if this has any negative consequences, but the wayland session also uses dbus-run-session -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmymoney] [Bug 420593] A sum of multiple rows selected is incorrect for securities with fraction > 100
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420593 Jack changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ostroffjh@users.sourceforge ||.net --- Comment #2 from Jack --- Maybe I don't understand something here, but for an investment transaction, the split for the brokerage account is always in the currency of the brokerage account, no matter how many decimal places are used for the number of shares transacted. At least for every investment account I have had, the amount of money used for any transaction (buy, sell, dividend) is always stated in whole cents (2 decimal places for $US) no matter the the fraction used for number of shares and price per share. I'd really like to see an example that demonstrates the problem you see. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[amarok] [Bug 419524] lyrics exist in db and are not displayed

I'm a programmer but I don't have enough knowledge in C++ and QT5 to update such big application as Amarok. I had a look in the sources and I have already found some settings for the lyrics: font size, text alignment etc. I'll try to find how the lyrics are retrieved for the tracks in the playlist by the start of amarok. I'm sure that it is not coming from lyrics.fandom.com but from the DB because I wrote the lyrics form some live tracks which are different from the standard CD tracks. Most of my collection is in french and related to unpopular or protesting singers, and the lyrics are mostly not found on lyrics.fandom.com Many thanks for your work. The fix described at rglinuxtech.com/?p=1626 (deleting [Configuration][General] entries and renaming [Configuration] to [Configuration][General]) didn't help much. The icons show in ~/.local/share/applications/ but not in ~/.local/share/plasma_icons/. I already tried kbuildsycoca5. The file still contains all my favorites but Plasma does not load them. I can still add favorites and add apps to the panel (widget). When I add one of the apps to the panel that are already present on it but whose icons doesn't show and then make the other entry in plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc look exactly the same the newly added app icon shows but the old one doesn't. This is because when I add it anew it adds a new file to ~/.local/share/plasma_icons/ while the other one's icon is broken because in the file it says "Icon=unknown" (the only difference is that the new entry links to the new (1) file): -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
