I can't make it crash at all. Are you still getting this. could you paste the
log in krita -> help -> show krita info for bug reports?

Also please attach the backtrace from lldb. After it crashes type "bt all" to
get a backtrace from the crash.

In general, we should answer first whether the zoom effect needs to have
accessibility features such as focus tracking or caret tracking. If indeed it
needs to have those features, then I would be glad to accept/approve a patch
that ports the zoom effect to libqaccessibilityclient.

So, iirc with the focus tracking, the zoom effect ensures that the focused
region (e.g. a ui control) is in the zoom area. It's not about focused or newly
opened windows.

[krita] [Bug 419281] Krita Actions - Copy Paste Layer Script

2020-05-12 Thread keyth_qcfx2
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419281

That does not WORK at all!..How do you set this is as "RESOLVED NOT A BUG"?

the ad.waitForDone() does nothing that I can see to solve this issue. I think
it might give the time to rest and do something but there is no LAYER SWAP just
the same. Considering your advice I tried to place wait where you told me and
also too on every step of the process in case i was placing it on the wrong
spot. I should mention I have tested asynchronization before making this
Report, I tryed again and not to my surprise it does not work also *sighs*
Because it is NOT asynchronization for I can tell, it feels more like a LAYER
LOCK.

"""
EXPECTED RESULT
Ability to change layer after a paste command.
"""

I don't know what else more to explain this:
-I made a sample script that "Does NOT" work
-An addon with the same EXACT code that "Does" work

I know the rest is working because you did not look at the end result of the
code. You even had the addon to compared it too. place a layer above and below
and note their names and see the end result, the merge will eat the layer below
and not the new layer it created because it thinks it is still on the layer
below.

the wait of the 2 buttons method gives allows for the selected layer to be in
fact be the one that is HIGHLIGHTED and NOT keep python acting from the
ORIGINAL layer below it where it started using its original commands. because
there is disparity from where the actions act and where they show to be acting
according to the layer stack, by the end of a simply copy paste procedure.

I talked about the "activateNextLayer" command too that was not used because
the 2 button setup literally ignored it and had no need for it. But I had it
marked on the code (addon) and spoke how useless it was too. Because if you use
that command isolated it will work but NOT if you surround it with other
commands. it will be locked and not change regardless.

Also making a action does not allow you to create a layer and input names to be
saved in variables to be used later so you can use it's name to change its
layer because that works.

As an Alternative you could say, "why not create a node manually and use the
name it so you can swap instead of using actions to copy paste?"
Also a bug there but instead on the Paste process, the information is correct
on the clipboard but does not lay it on the layer correctly, that I have
reported, I even made video demonstrating how it did not work. Also no one
gives a shit on that one it seems.

...I am Sorry to say but everything Python in Krita is especially aggravating.
I made a damn Color Picker in Krita and I felt like I should punch myself
because of even having stupid ideas. But this Copy Paste Thing? it is even
worse seriously... If you guys don't believe me, I am okays, I think I did what
I could do. I reported both. I had my responses that both are not bugs. I am
just gonna use my stupid work around call it a day and not bother anymore.

[frameworks-syntax-highlighting] [Bug 421445] New: Opening double quote in sql-postgresql has "comment" attribute instead of "identifier"

2020-05-12 Thread Benjamin Wuethrich
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421445

Bug ID: 421445
Summary: Opening double quote in sql-postgresql has "comment"
attribute instead of "identifier"
   Product: frameworks-syntax-highlighting
   Version: 5.70.0
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: syntax
  Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: benjamin.wuethr...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 128412
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=128412=edit
Screenshot of incorrectly highlighted opening double quote

SUMMARY

When double quoting a string in a PostgreSQL statement such as when setting an
output name in a select statement, the opening double quote is highlighted as a
comment instead of as an identifier.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Create a new document in Kate
2. Set syntax highlighting language to "SQL (PostgreSQL)"
3. Write a statement including a double quote, for example

select 'foo' "bar";

OBSERVED RESULT

The opening double quote is highlighted as a comment, the identifier and the
closing double quote as an identifier (see attachment).

EXPECTED RESULT

The quoted string is highlighted as an identifier, both quotes included.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Ubuntu 19.10
Kate 19.04.3
KDE Frameworks 5.62.0
Qt 5.12.4 (built against 5.12.4)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The same error affects Pandoc syntax highlighting, which uses Skylighting,
which uses the KDE syntax definition files.

John MacFarlane, the creator of Skylighting and Pandoc, pointed me to this line
in the syntax file, which seems to be the culprit:

Phabricator link:
https://phabricator.kde.org/source/syntax-highlighting/browse/master/data/syntax/sql-postgresql.xml$1010

Looking further to when this was introduced, I found this commit back when
syntax highlighting was in Kate:
https://invent.kde.org/kde/kate/-/commit/2e55bd0ca7deaaffe5546f04e2925112cca2a9a6#5d04d3f12b2774e3618e339c318f3154ac45df03

It changes line 749 from

to the line shown above (line 750 after commit diff):

but attribute="9" corresponds to "Identifier"; "Comment" would be "8", as can
be seen by inspecting the surrounding lines and the array.

[korganizer] [Bug 421443] New: KOrganizer does not sync reliably with Zoho Calendars via CalDAV - pulls wrong remote CalDAV calendar URL

2020-05-12 Thread JJ Emilien
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421443

Bug ID: 421443
Summary: KOrganizer does not sync reliably with Zoho Calendars
via CalDAV - pulls wrong remote CalDAV calendar URL
   Product: korganizer
   Version: 5.13.3
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: groupware
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: jjemil...@zoho.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 128409
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=128409=edit
partial screenshot of CalDAV remote URLs

SUMMARY
KOrganizer does not pull events inbound from Zoho Calendars. It can only sync
one event outbound to the Zoho Calendar. After successfully syncing that event
to Zoho Calendar, akonadiconsole reports that the event is "dirty" and
KOrganizer stops syncing any more events outbound to Zoho calendar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a free email account at mail.zoho.com
2. With email account credentials, go to Zoho Calendar at
https://calendar.zoho.com/mycalendar and create an event
3. Subscribe to the US Holidays calendar on the Zoho Calendar website
4. Create a free account at trip planner website Tripit.com
5. Obtain the link for the Tripit calendar on Tripit.com
6. On the Zoho Calendar website, subscribe to the Tripit calendar
7. In mail.zoho.com settings, create app specific password for KOrganizer

OBSERVED RESULT
In KOrganizer, when adding the CalDAV configuration server URL
https://calendar.zoho.com, KOrganizer will correctly fetch the Zoho calendar
collection consisting of the zoho calendar (write + read),the US Holidays
calendar (read only), and the Tripit calendar (read only).

The calDAV remote calendar URLs take the form
https://calendar.zoho.com/caldav/calendarID/event

The Zoho calendar has the correct CalDAV remote URL

The US Holidays remote CalDAV URL is wrong. The calendarID for US Holidays is
wrongly stringed together sequentially with the calendarID for Zoho calendar.

The Tripit remote CalDAV URL is wrong. The calendarID for Tripit is wrongly
stringed together sequentially with the calendarID for Zoho calendar.

(See attachment for a partial screenshot of the remote CalDAV URLs)

The event created on the Zoho calendar website will not sync inbound to the
KOrganizer calendar

The events from US Holidays calendar and Tripit calendar don't sync inbound to
the KOrganizer calendar

One event added to the Zoho calendar in KOrganizer will sync outbound to the
Zoho calendar website. But no more events will sync outbound to the Zoho
calendar afterwards, as akonadiconsole reports that event created in KOrganizer
as being "dirty"

EXPECTED RESULT
When adding the CalDAV configuration server URL https://calendar.zoho.com, it
should fetch the entire calendar collection with the correct CalDAV remote
URLs.
What's worse is there's no way to edit the wrong remote URLs.
In akonadiconsole, Browser tab, Calendar folder properties, Internals tab, the
remote URL is there, but it says in red letters: "Do not even think about
changing anything in here!"

Events from Zoho calendar in KOrganizer should sync both ways with the Zoho
calendar website.
Events from US Holidays calendar should sync inbound in read-only with
KOrganizer
Events from Tripit calendar should sync inbound in read-only with KOrganizer

[kdenlive] [Bug 371849] audio file sounds "clicky" when on project timeline; affects rendered file

2020-05-12 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371849

Thanks for the response emohr.

Changing any of those suggested sound device settings in windows does not
resolve the issue. I also made a 1920x1080 png of just black and added that to
the timeline. Still same issue, but I don't see why that would be any different
anyway, because really we are talking about an empty timeline having the issue.
As in, shouldn't it be a pure zero null audio output? Shouldn't the first
question we be asking is why there is any audio output at all from Kdenlive?

I want to make it clear that there are no issues with audio or video playback
on this computer. It plays video games, Youtube videos and music through
Foobar2000 flawlessly. I have tried various other video editors and Kdenlive is
the only one that has this issue.

[skrooge] [Bug 421440] New: preview somehow the bank name for each bank icon

2020-05-12 Thread skierpage
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421440

Bug ID: 421440
Summary: preview somehow the bank name for each bank icon
   Product: skrooge
   Version: Trunk from git
  Platform: Flatpak
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: guillaume.deb...@gmail.com
  Reporter: skierp...@gmail.com
CC: steph...@mankowski.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
In the account entry panel it's difficult to identify banks from their small
logos in the icon combobox. It would be nice to have a tooltip for each icon in
the popup menu that shows the derived bank name.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click Accounts, click an existing account
2. Click the first field next to *Bank:*, the bank icon popup
3. Scroll through the popup menu, wonder what each bank is.

OBSERVED RESULT
You have to choose an icon to see what its name is in the bank name field, then
click to pop up the list again to try the next.

EXPECTED RESULT
Two ideas:
a) Have a tooltip for each icon in the popup menu.
b) As you highlight each icon in the popup menu, the bank name could appear in
the bank name field. The trick is if you dismiss without choosing anything, the
bank name field should revert.

Maybe after you've chosen an icon, the tooltip for this field could change to
"Icon of the bank (american express)" in case you've changed the bank name
field.

Yes, it does. It downloads what is probably index.html first, but then passes
the actual URL to the browser. Should it happen this way?

What should happen next? Can Okular declare kf5-kded a hard dependency so that
all distros pick it up, or should we open bugs at all affected distros'
bugzillas?

I don’t use the “Software Center” runner. Interestingly, I don’t see a

Anyway, it’s not fixed for me after all, there is still delay even when
disabling all the runners.

I suppose that will need some work on a configuration UI. Do you have any

[cantor] [Bug 420959] Error plotting

2020-05-12 Thread avlas
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420959

On a second thought I think this should work

```
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=master --arch=x86_64 --filesystem=/tmp
--filesystem=$HOME org.kde.cantor "$@"
```

Saying this because I manually created the file and cantor automatically got
rid of it (as I can see in part of the changes you introduced), so the file was
visible and could be deleted.

This makes me think there is some sort of issue with these last changes you
introduced. Unfortunately there is no way for me to test this in the flatpak
version immediate before to this commit.

If you reverted these changes I could give it a try... (once a new flatpak
version is made available)

I just sent the PDF document from which I took the screenshots privately by
e-mail, for debugging purposes. Unfortunately I cannot legally share the
document here publicly due to copyright issues. Please do not redistribute the
document.

However, you can check the same bug on numerous open documents:

e.g. , I can see certain notes swapped when scaling down on the 2nd page of:

Fix: Properly Play Animations / Display Onion Skins During Isolation of Hidden
Layers

Also correctly shows onion skins during isolation. Also fixes some edge
cases where drawing on isolated layers didn't work properly.

[okular] [Bug 421430] Okular causes offsets during downscale of document

2020-05-12 Thread Never Mind
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421430

I had tried reading these sheets with Evince and Zathura, both using poppler as
backend, and none of them seem to have the same issue when scaling down. I use
okular more comfortably due to the interface, but I am forced to switch to
Zathura when this issue arises.

I have attached a screenshot of the three, at matching document zoom (notice
that evince and okular do not show the same document size on screen when the
same zoom % is selected in the app, so different zooms levels were selected
until both rendered same pixel sizes 1:1 on screen). Screenshots have not been
scaled.

[okular] [Bug 421413] toolbar in presentation mode not opening when moving unpressed stylus to the top left

2020-05-12 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421413

--- Comment #3 from daniel-other+kde...@dadosch.de ---
Ahh, ok. If I aim really close on the top and press (I mean really close, ca.
1mm) it opens. However this is really difficult, especially in a presentation
situation.

My QT-Version is 5.14.2. When hovering over the screen, a crosshair is shown.

After a bit of testing around, the toolbar indeed opens with just hovering the
pen, but the area in which this is activated is so small, that you basically
can't open it (I have a 1920x1080 screen, height approx. 17.5 cm. Two height
pixels are only 3mm tall.)

I suggest that when hovering with a pen, the toolbox should open, as soon as
the pen is in the top x pixels, where x is the height of the toolbox when
opened. If the stylus is pressed on the screen (when drawing etc) it should not
open.

Can you share a sample PDF file for testing?

BTW Okular does not produce the image itself (but its core library, poppler
does. Can you try if Evince (also PDF-based) has the same bug? If so, this
should be reported against poppler.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Agree for this bug. I have KDE Connect and receiving for example SMS

and when I'm rushing to read the SMS content to copy the one-time-passcode,
it's pretty difficult. It would help if I could make those pop-ups a one or two

You get the toolbar when moving the mouse on the top 2 pixels of the screen
(see presentationwidget.cpp:841). Stylus events do get translated to mouse
events, and therefore I can get the toolbar with a stylus by touching the
screen on the top two pixels. AFAIK mere hovering of the stylus is not
considered.

[okular] [Bug 421413] toolbar in presentation mode not opening when moving unpressed stylus to the top left

2020-05-12 Thread Christoph Feck
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421413

Could you please state your Qt version? Old versions had a bug that prevented
stylus hover events to be converted to mouse hover events.

[dolphin] [Bug 421428] New: Scrollbar is hidden in Dolphin under macOS until you use arrow keys

2020-05-12 Thread Yurii Kolesnykov
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421428

Bug ID: 421428
Summary: Scrollbar is hidden in Dolphin under macOS until you
use arrow keys
   Product: dolphin
   Version: 20.04.0
  Platform: Homebrew (macOS)
OS: macOS
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: view-engine: general
  Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: r...@yurikoles.com
CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

no scrolling normally
https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/4255480/81734876-7b203380-9494-11ea-90b6-35a49096fdf5.png

but if you go down with the arrow keys, the scrollbar appears and you can
scroll for about 1 second, until the scrollbar disappears again

https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/4255480/81735118-dce09d80-9494-11ea-8445-fb304e997a25.png

actually the only view layout which always works is the middle one

https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/4255480/81735736-c850d500-9495-11ea-9478-dad3e74065af.png

and if you switch to the middle layout, scroll there, and then switch back to
the initial layout or to the tree layout, the scrolling is again enabled for a
second, and then disappears again. Like you would have "scrolled" using keys.

It seems as soon as you somehow can activate the scrollbar in general, it works
again for all three views, and not only the middle one (but only very short for
a second or so)

EXPECTED RESULT

Observe scrollbar.
