[kstars] [Bug 424360] Using Dark Frames in Guiding Module Repeats Dark Capture Process
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424360 --- Comment #1 from mountainai...@outlook.com --- KStars 3.4.3 experienced the same issue in the simulator -- but only one time. I had started guiding after deleting all darks from the library, so KStars correctly prompted me to take a dark. That worked fine, and guiding started. A minute later I switched into the capture tab and KStars prompted me for another dark. I had not tried to capture anything, nor did I change the exposure or gain settings in the Guiding tab or Indi control panel. This did seem better than Friday night, when I was prompted about 7 or 8 times for new darks before I just turned the feature off. I will try again when I can get a live scope set up outside, and will capture the guide log. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 386379] Dolphin scrolls faster in icon mode than other Qt/KDE software
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386379 --- Comment #57 from Colin Griffith --- It seems that the new issue is different; it doesn't depend on icon size, it's just a huge distance scrolled each tick no matter what view I use, and no matter how the items are sized. I can't find where to change the number of lines scrolled either, it seems that option was removed. Even using evdev instead of libinput for mouse handling doesn't let me use the other options page in System Settings. I tried accessing it by commenting out the top of /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf (which I have as a symlink to /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf), which indeed loads the evdev driver for mice, but maybe KDE requires libinput to be completely uninstalled? I'll file a new bug report, I suppose.. Not entirely sure what to include in it though, as this sounds like a few things that might be bugs but might not be. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 424447] New: I can't save my work to the proper folders without having to blindly press buttons and navigate through the "Open, Save/Save as" menu.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424447 Bug ID: 424447 Summary: I can't save my work to the proper folders without having to blindly press buttons and navigate through the "Open, Save/Save as" menu. Product: krita Version: 4.3.0 Platform: Snap OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: taliaskittle...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 130268 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=130268=edit Screenshot taken of the "Open File" screen. All folders on the left-hand side are greyed out and unselectable. The dropdown menu is greyed out and unselectable. The icons are missing. >From what I've been able to gather, this is a bug that's exclusively on the snap release for Krita. I don't know how often it's been reported, if it has at all, but when the "Open/Save/Save As" menu pops up as I try to save my progress: All of the shortcuts on the left-hand side are greyed out (leaving only Computer and "57" for me), I can't navigate the drop-down menu as everything is greyed out there, and the "add new folder and the left/right" icons are completely missing. I have to blindly click around where they generally should be in order to navigate. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Krita directly from the Ubuntu Software Center. 2. Create a new file or open a preexisting file that is outside of the default directory. 3. If you choose to save the new file, try to save it outside of the default directory or use the dropdown menu to navigate. OBSERVED RESULT Using the snap-store release, I found that the drop-down menu can be clicked but it can't be used. The shortcut area is greyed out and unusable, and the icons next to the drop-down menu are selectable, but missing. EXPECTED RESULT Using the app-image release, I found that everything works as it should. The drop-down menu is normal, I can add shortcuts to the directories I typically save to, and all of the icons for the buttons are present. This is what we want most of the time, but it's inappropriate when the applet is on a panel, as panel applets never get focus. Also, the focus ring looks ugly here because it never goes away, so you wind up with a random inaccurate focus ring on your panel. Either we could do something fancy to detect this condition, or just add a property that will disable showing the focus ring when clicked. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Thanks, Now I understand, but there is a problem : 1- Set global theme to non breeze theme for example Breath. Apply. 2- Set GTK3 theme to Breath. Apply. 3- Set global theme to Dark breeze. Normally from what I understand in this stage GTK3 theme should be set to Dark breeze to follow Qt theming. 4- Open a GTK3 app you will find it still uses Breath theme. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42 Bug ID: 42 Summary: Right clicking sometimes selects the first option without any clicking Product: plasmashell Version: 5.18.5 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: oceanodefol...@pm.me CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 130264 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=130264=edit please read the "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION" section SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE Haven't be able to reproduce it. OBSERVED RESULT Right clicking sometimes selects the first option without any clicking. EXPECTED RESULT The opposite of the observed result. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It can be observed after some time after being logged in. I attached a photo, what I observed it when this bug happens, is that the menu gets positioned a few pixels above, so the first option gets behind the cursor. This happened so many times that I thought it was my mouse that was failing (it's a brand new one), but I think it isn't. When clicking outside of the window on the desktop or by clicking the same icon that activated the window. Clicking other areas in the taskbar does not make the menu slide back down. I tried doing this with the Wifi menu and it did not work. I think it would be consistent if you click the bottom panel outside of the wifi icon, for example, that the wifi menu will slide back down. Thanks, document.refreshProjection() works. I actually expected that there might be some step to notify the change. But it is not necessary that doing multiple updates waste CPU in general sense. Some APIs may use some mechanism to mark the current state as dirty and will update during next refresh. In that case, there will not be any need to manually notify. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 424428] Budget reports is wrong once you changed time interval
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424428 Thomas Baumgart changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |--- Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|NEEDSINFO |CONFIRMED --- Comment #5 from Thomas Baumgart --- Problem is, that budget numbers are maintained on a monthly basis and don't have a detailed date. Since your period selection for the report is the 'last three months', the report (today) starts on the 19th. Once you change the range to 'last quarter' figures are correct. Solution would be to force the budget reports always to begin on the first of a month. I have to think about it a bit and am open for suggestions too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kde] [Bug 424434] New: Application doesn't know its window's updated position while dragging
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424434 Bug ID: 424434 Summary: Application doesn't know its window's updated position while dragging Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: php4...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. With Chrome: visit http://opentarget.org/test/stupidchrome/winpos/ 2. click Launch: this will open a popup 3. Drag the popup to move it around OBSERVED RESULT The x and y values printed in the popup don't change while you are dragging the window. They only get updated when you drop it. EXPECTED RESULT They should keep gettig updated. In fact, the contents of the window keep getting redrawn and the javascript in the html page in Chrome keep running, and the contents of the text keep getting updated. However, the values for the x and y coordinates of the window, returned by javascript, are always the same while dragging, equal to their value an instant before you started to move the window. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN KDE: if you try the exact same example in the exact same Chrome browser in Cinnamon or Gnome 3, it will work as expected and the values will keep changing while you drag the window. Since this only happens in KDE, it appears that the application running in the window (in this case Google Chrome) doesn't get informed by KDE that the window is being moved around, until you are done dragging, and then it is informed all of a sudden of its new position. This breaks existing web content in the case of a browser, and I can imagine it breaking other applications that relying on knowing the position of their window on the screen in real time.
