[plasmashell] [Bug 426644] Screens go black / unresponsive after sleep or lock
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426644 chris.dro...@protonmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||chris.dro...@protonmail.com --- Comment #4 from chris.dro...@protonmail.com --- Currently having a similar issue. Was actually having a more dramatic version where the xserver would crash when locking or sleeping the PC, but I got fed up looking for solutions and finding none so I ended up trying a reinstall. On my current install it's not consistent, but generally after some arbitrary amount of inactivity, my main monitor comes up blank with a lock screen showing on the right and left secondary monitors. When I try to unlock, the password field on the right side won't work, but the left side usually will. A couple of times all screens were unresponsive and I had to restart sddm to be able to log in graphically. I've tried everything I can think of to reliably reproduce this or locate some shred of information on what's going wrong, but I'm out of ideas. Operating System: Kubuntu 20.10 KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 Kernel Version: 5.8.0-29-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 12 × Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-1650 v2 @ 3.50GHz Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Radeon RX 580 Series -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[digikam] [Bug 429709] Date view suddenly switches to month view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429709 Maik Qualmann changed: What|Removed |Added CC||metzping...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Maik Qualmann --- The virtual date album is resolved by month. The day is not saved. After changes in the database that affect the creation date, it takes 30 seconds for the date view to be updated. Since the construction of the date view is quite time-consuming, there is this waiting time. Since only the month is resolved, the display jumps back. I'll see if there's an easy way to save the day temporarily. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

H. Kossebau --- Git commit 4c8546dcaf9e2359822a368b8e5864c2db27d2f2 by Friedrich W. H. Kossebau. Committed on 26/11/2020 at 11:36. Pushed by kossebau into branch 'master'. Ark KPart: restore mismatch of componentname and plugin id By history Ark stores the xmlgui ui.rc file for the part in the same subdir as the program, ark/. And set the comppnent name as needed to "ark" via the KAboutData instance for the KPart. At the same time the plugin id has been "arkpart", as derived from the library name due to the absence of an explicit X-KDE-PluginInfo-Name entry in the desktop file. With the change to the KPluginMetaData API of KParts/KPluginLoader and the new entries added to the desltop file based on the KAboutData values, that mismatch was resolved by accident. With "ark" now also the plugin id, the look up the kpart by the program though now fails, due to the condition metaData.pluginId() == QLatin1String("arkpart") M +1-1part/ark_part.desktop.cmake M +10 -0part/part.cpp M +5-0part/part.h https://invent.kde.org/utilities/ark/commit/4c8546dcaf9e2359822a368b8e5864c2db27d2f2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 429709] Date view suddenly switches to month view

[digikam] [Bug 429709] New: Date view suddenly switches to month view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429709 Bug ID: 429709 Summary: Date view suddenly switches to month view Product: digikam Version: 7.2.0 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: m...@mikemorr.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When viewing photos from a specific date (e.g. Nov. 26, 2020), digiKam suddenly switches to show photos from the entire month (e.g. Nov. 2020). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In the Dates view, choose a specific date on the calendar grid in the lower left corner of digiKam. The photo thumbnails will be photos from that date, sorted into their various albums. 2. Perform some operation, for example select some of the photos and move them into a different album. 3. Observe that the thumbnails don't appear to have moved to the new album, but still appear to be in the old album. 4. To force the display to refresh, click a different date in the same month (for example Nov. 24, 2020) on the calendar grid, and then click the original date to return to it. 5. Notice that the photos are now correctly shown to be in the new album. 6. Now do nothing and wait for about 10 seconds. OBSERVED RESULT After a few seconds, the date selection and photo thumbnails suddenly show the entire month (for example November 2020) instead of the specific day (e.g. Nov. 26, 2020) that was chosen. This loss of specific date selection occurs after a delay, without any input from the user. EXPECTED RESULT Whenever the user clicks a specific date, the selection should stay on that date, and should not change to a whole month unless the user clicks the month name. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Using 7.2.0-beta1, build date Oct 17 2020, rev 92da0191aa60e3eb1a188083016e958928ddd0b2 on Ubuntu 20.10.
