https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431415 Vlad Zahorodnii changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #9 from Vlad Zahorodnii --- The problem is that aurorae decoration engine is inefficient. KWin gets the data from a texture where Aurorae composites the decoration and uploads it to another decoration texture atlas. Performance-wise, that's not good. By delaying compositing, we just made it more easier to miss the next vblank. Perhaps, we should increase the latency policy to "extremely high" to work around this bug until the performance hog is properly fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-kconfig] [Bug 431582] New: Set double click in touchpad by default
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431582 Bug ID: 431582 Summary: Set double click in touchpad by default Product: frameworks-kconfig Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matt...@mjdsystems.ca Reporter: adrlop...@gmail.com CC: kdelibs-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Hi! I'm not a developer, but I have a little idea respect to the settings of touchpad. By default, the touchpad only recognizes left-click and right-click, but not double-click unless user change this settings. I think it would be more user-friendly to set double click in touchpad by default (if single-click is set before) because many users may think KDE Plasma isn't totally compatible with their device or that device doesn't work properly. I had this idea when, recently, I installed KDE NEON on a friend's laptop and she thought her touchpad didn't work. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Setup a fresh KDE NEON install 2. Set a single-click in touchpad settings. 3. Try to open a file or folder. OBSERVED RESULT File or folder doesn't open or run. EXPECTED RESULT File or folder should open or run. [plasmashell] [Bug 431550] Disable expanding of task manager
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431550 --- Comment #2 from Chris --- Hi Nate, on a standard panel, the icons-only task manager also expands to the right, but this is not that much of a problem, since the standard panel does not have an option to "restore windows by dragging from panel". However, on a standard panel, if you put an expanding spacer to the right of the task manager, the expanding spacer takes precedence (i.e. the empty space is filled by the spacer, not the task manager). That is not the case on a Latte panel. Come to think of it, my problem could be solved if Latte gave precedence to the spacer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
