I see that medin also doesn't like the change of splash screen. 
If you just want to change the colors, than you should switch the color theme
and not the global theme.

SUMMARY
Using Dolphin to add a file to gdrive (either by copy/paste or DnD) creates an
ambiguously named additional file. If the semantics of gdrive web are to be
followed, it should add the file data as a new version of the existing file.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a file and DnD to gdrive via dolphin
2. Modify the file and DnD without changing the file name

OBSERVED RESULT
Two file entries with the same name can be seen both in dolphin and gdrive web

EXPECTED RESULT
One file entry with the latest version set as the uploaded data

More or less a duplicate of bug 254099. There is a wish to run digiKam on the
server to run the collection scan.

The question is rather where the performance problem is with you? When reading
the files from the NAS? Do you use a drive path or a UNC path to access the
image collection in digiKam?

As you can see the image, in bluetooth mode the "bt" words instead of "AU",
start blinking when the bluetooth speakers are not connected to any device.

I have been able to reproduce this on multiple machines (all Archlinux though).
But since you say it is okay on your end, I need to check if this is an
Archlinux problem.

x11: Initialize opacity when starting to track Unmanaged

This is a minor regression that was introduced with the refactoring of
Toplevel::opacity().

Previously, neither X11Client nor Unmanaged had to explicitly initialize
the opacity because it was queried from the net info object in
Toplevel::opacity().

With the refactored version, X11-specific opacity code was removed from
the Toplevel class. When starting to manage a window, the opacity must
be explicitly initialized.

Hi, I am turning off bluetooth using Bluetooth option in system tray(Show
hidden icons).
My bluetooth speakers beep once and stop blinking "bt" words when a device is
connected, when a device is disconnected the device will beep once and start
blinking "bt" words.
Yes, the bluetooth speakers doesn't play audio when the bluetooth is turned
off.
But still it doesn't disconnect or free the bluetooth device, as I can see the
beep sound is not given and the "bt" words doesn't start blinking after I turn
off the bluetooth.
What I am saying is that when I turn off bluetooth the system is disabling the
bluetooth but not giving any info to the bluetooth speakers, that "it is
disconnected", so bluetooth speakers remain in "connected" state. Because of
this I cannot connect other bluetooth devices like my Android phone, to connect
to them I have to turn off the bluetooth speakers and turn them on again.

When I turn off bluetooth in Windows 10 & Android OS, the connected bluetooth
speakers are immediately disconnected, i.e the speakers gave one beep sound and
"bt" words started blinking.
I get this issue only on Linux(KDE neon), I didn't tried to reproduce this
issue in other distros.

SUMMARY
We currently have a column for sorting files into path, but these paths can be
very long and require scrolling left and right. I do a lot of document
management with a lot of sub-folders and this can slow me down. It would be
nice to have a column that just shows the folder that the file is in, not the
entire path of the file. I've seen this function in Windows and it was more
useful for me than a full path column.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open folder in Details View Mode
2. Right click columns, Other, Paths

OBSERVED RESULT
Paths option can be very long with a lot of sub-folders, especially folders
with long names

EXPECTED RESULT
Folders option that shows only the name of the folder that the file is housed
in without the rest of the path

SUMMARY
I've been using Kdenlive for a few years now and recently used Premiere again
for my job. I still love Kdenlive, but I think there are a few features that
Kdenlive could benefit from to make video editing more efficient. If these
features already exist, please let me know!

JUMP TO NEXT/PREVIOUS CUT
In Premiere, you can use the up and down arrow keys to quickly move the
playhead to the next cut/beginning of the next clip. Here is an example:

RIPPLE EDIT
This allows you to shorten or extend the beginning or end of a clip while
moving the following clips with it. This would save users from having to trim
clips and then use the Spacer tool by combining the two actions together. On
Premiere, it's called the Ripple Edit Tool. Here is an example:

could be done one frame at a time using the arrow keys.

ADJUSTMENT LAYERS
In Premiere, Adjustment Layers are like transparent clips that can be placed on
the timeline. When you add effects to this Adjustment Layer, the effects are
automatically applied to all the clips below it in the timeline. The nice thing
about Adjustment Layers is that you can easily apply a series of effects to
multiple clips. Also, if you are stuck between two looks, you can create
different Adjustment layers, and easily try them them out on your clips without
having to go in and manually delete the effects from each of your clips. Using
this would be a lot faster and more precise than saving effect stacks or
applying master effects to an entire track. More on that here:

EXTEND EDIT
This extends an edit to the playhead. In Premiere, this is done by pressing

OPENING MULTIPLE SEQUENCES
I believe this has been asked before, but it would be great if we could open
more than one project at a time in Kdenlive, and access them all through tabs.

that being able to open multiple project within Kdenlive could be handy.

I've also been having this problem for probably over a year. I'm using Qt
5.15.2, Frameworks 5.79.0, and Okular 20.12.2 on Gentoo. I can't scroll using
the mouse wheel, arrow keys, page up/down buttons, navigating to a page by
entering the page number and hitting enter, or clicking on clicking/dragging on
the thumbnails on the right. As a workaround, I've been scrolling by clicking
and dragging on the document itself in "Browse" mode.

SUMMARY

Any effects added to clips are ignored when using proxy clips.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Drag a video clip onto the timeline.
2. Add Edge Crop effect to the clip, either in the Project Bin or the clip on
the timeline. Crop the image to half its size.
3. Enable proxy clips in the project.
4. Enable Proxy Clip for the video clip.

OBSERVED RESULT

After the proxy clip is generated, see that the project monitor no longer shows
the result of the Edge Crop effect.

EXPECTED RESULT

Project Monitor should show the effects applied to the proxy.

SUMMARY
I couldn't login to userbase.kde.org, there was no login button/link. Then I
made the window wider,and "Login with MyKDE" appeared (along with a language
selector and Search... box).

This happens with Firefox and chromium-browser. I use a half-width browser on a
full HD screen, thus it's normally 960 pixels wide.

The top-most element that vanishes is I think

  

I notice in the development inspector the CSS style:

  display: none;

so I think it vanishing is intentional. There's a button to show navigation,

box vanish with no way to show them.

EXPECTED RESULT
Leave these items visible all the way down to 767 pixels. Or make the existing
toggle appear at wider resolutions. Or have a separate toggle for these items.

In the last release a new feature was added to normalize audio thumbnails, you
can access it by right clicking on the audio track and choose it. (Also you can
adjust the track heights...) Hope that works for you. Let us know if it

Regarding streams not switching over with Pipewire, I have a pretty
reproducible case.

1.) Connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones and set that as the default device
if it isn't already.
2.) Play an audio stream and then pause it.
3.) Disconnect Bluetooth headphones. Default output auto switches to another
device on the system.
4.) Play audio stream again. Stream plays back properly on that new default.
5.) Pause stream.
6.) Manually switch default output to ANOTHER audio device on the system. Play
stream. The stream doesn't migrate over.

Seems like KDE (or Pipewire) is fixing the audio streams to a specific device
whenever they're moved from another device that's been recently disconnected.

Should I file a separate bug for this?

I confirm that the provided nochange.cube lut changes the color. This seems to

I haven't worked out specific steps-to-reproduce, since I don't know how to
make a simple repro case for something that relies on Bluetooth devices.

I currently have two BT devices paired with my computer: an "Intuos BT M"
tablet, and a "Nvidia Controller v01.04" gamepad.  The tablet is rarely
connected, but the gamepad usually stays connected for long periods, including
reboots.

Often, if I hover my mouse over the Bluetooth icon in the KDE System Tray, it
will say "Bluetooth: Intuos BT M connected" (referring to the tablet), even
though only the gamepad is connected.  If I click on the Bluetooth icon, the
list of devices correctly puts the gamepad under "Connected" and the tablet
under "Available"; the only place I see the wrong device is in the mouseover. 
It doesn't seem to affect anything concrete.

I think (but haven't been able to verify formally) that it almost always is
wrong when I start the computer; however, if the gamepad disconnects and later
reconnects, then the mouseover stays correct for the remainder of the session.

This is using the default Bluetooth system tray icon, the one that shows up in
"System Tray Settings" as "Bluetooth (Automatic load)" (which I have set to
"Show When Relevant", with no keybindings).  I think that's part of Bluedevil;
let me know if I misfiled the bug.

I'm sorry I don't have steps-to-reproduce.  I'm hoping the bug will be evident
on inspection, but if you need me to experiment, let me know.

Making this request here so that requests like

Right now, the available texturing modes available in the Pattern option of the
brush settings are: Multiply Alpha, Subtract Alpha, Lightness Map, and Gradient
Map. 

It would be nice if the Blending Modes already available in the Masked Brush
Tip option:
* Darken
* Overlay
* Color Dodge 
* Burn 
* Linear Burn
* Linear Dodge
* Hard Mix
* (Multiply and Subtract if they're technically different from Multiply Alpha
and Subtract Alpha)
were also available as pattern texturing modes, to allow more brush
configurability. 

It would also help artists porting their brushes from other programs such as
Photoshop (and recently CSP) to Krita, as those programs already have these
texturing modes for their brushes.

(A texturing mode that's also been sometimes requested for Krita is Height, but
this might be very difficult to implement as there doesn't seem to be a public
specification of such an option. That specific mode shouldn't be considered
necessary for "resolving" this request.)

SUMMARY
When using the global menu widget alongside the icons only task manager widget
in the same panel separated by a spacer, changing the focus to an app makes the
icons in the task manager resize according to the length of the menu options
(smaller if the menu options are longer and vice versa)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create a fixed-size panel
2. add global menu widget on one side, icons-only task manager on the other,
and a flexible sized spacer in between them
3. change the focus between different apps

OBSERVED RESULT
The icons in the icons-only task manager resize

EXPECTED RESULT
The icons should stay the same size

I can reproduce this in master with placeholder clip. I managed to delete the

and select “Dissociate From Recurrence...”.  You should see a dialog box saying
“Do you want to dissociate the occurrence on [date] from the recurrence or also
dissociate future ones?”  Select “Only Dissociate This One” for case 1, “Also
Dissociate Future Ones” for case 2a.  Changes you make to the dissociated
occurrence do not affect the others.

You can also drag the occurrence to a new time, instead of cutting and pasting.

One adds channelcopy but the other adds channelswap as shown in terminal. So we
need to see what id the difference of those and which one works better.

SUMMARY
Maybe I have not the right constellation by using digikam, but on Windows it is
incredible slow. I would like to put a digikam server version on the wishlist
to run long time processing tasks.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
My constellation: Photos on a Synology NAS. MariaDB on the same NAS. My Windows
PC is connected via ethernet.  In my network I run an ubuntu server.

EXPECTED RESULT
I can install a server version for ubuntu. Optional: I can maintain it with my
Windows installation (connection via SSH and command line eg.). From the server
I can start face detection and recognition, thumbnail creation, hash key
generation, similar photo scanning,...
Some things can run as cronjob, some as batch job.

So as far as I see

I just cleared the redesign. Right click the dock in edit mode and you will
find it in the context menu, there are plenty new and nice options now for Dock
management in the right click context menu.

Can you please try with the latest version? Also lower the preview resolution
