Ekos ADU is supposed to be used with a constant flux source. Sky flats will not
work and it was designed to handle this case.

eglCreateWindowSurface() wants a Window (unsigned long), but with
EGL_NO_PLATFORM_SPECIFIC_TYPES, EGLNativeWindowType is defined as an

OS: Other
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Animation
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: ghe...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

The title probably has nothing to do with the crash, its just what happened. I
was waiting for a transformation mask to end, the GUI was blocked, when I had
control back I moved a paint layer over the File layer. Then I had a crash.

Set to animation as backtrace place the crash at KisAnimCurvesChannelsModel. I
have no animation active on the file.

[kwin] [Bug 442367] New: Firefox empty/transparent window on resume

2021-09-12 Thread Joe
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442367

Bug ID: 442367
Summary: Firefox empty/transparent window on resume
   Product: kwin
   Version: 5.22.5
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal

  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 141505
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=141505&action=edit
example of an empty/transparent firefox window

I have noticed lately that on resume, if I have firefox maximized that it will
resume with only the title bar and the actual window is completely transparent.
I have attached a screen shot. In this instance, the Firefox window on my other
(primary) monitor (with a panel) was fine and rendered its content correctly.
Usually resizing/wiggling the window "fixes it". This time I just left it there
after the screen shot, and, while filling this out it eventually painted
itself. However, it also unpainted itself and repaints kind of randomly (at
times now, the upper right quadrant had painted content, and the rest of the
window flashed transparent.

I have also noticed that the new hover preview is really messed up after
resume, too, mainly around firefox. Going over previews really seems to trigger
things and causes Firefox to flash/go transparent.

Summary: permanent notification disappears on lineage os 18.1
   Product: kdeconnect
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Android
OS: Android 11.x
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: android-application
  Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com
  Reporter: k...@treffenstaedt.de
  Target Milestone: ---

After installation, kdeconnect's permanent notification (which is neccessary to
send the clipboard) shows up for a while, but then disappears. Restarting the
app or rebooting the phone does not fix it. The notification is enabled in the
notification settings. Reinstalling the app fixes the problem for a while, but
I would need to re-pair all my computers.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install kdeconnect app on lineage os 18.1
2. enable the permanent notification
3. wait a couple days

OBSERVED RESULT
the permanent notification disappears

EXPECTED RESULT
the permanent notification does not disappear

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Lineage OS 18.1 (Android 11)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I do not observe this behaviour on a different phone running stock Android 11
(Samsung), so it is most likely a specific issue under lineage os.
As a workaround, I would also love for you to just give the the option to send
the clipboard directly from the app.

Also getting this on my second monitor. Arch Linux, Plasma 5.22.5, NVIDIA
470.63.01.

Same thing - have youtube open in Firefox, if Firefox is maximized on my second
screen (non primary, no panels), then going full screen causes a black screen.
Note, I have tried disabling the "full screen effect", and it is still doing
this for me at least. Reducing the window size allows the video to properly go
full screen.

Getting this on my dual monitor setup (only on the secondary monitor), only
when Firefox is already maximed.

Might be a dupe of: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427920 ??

[krita] [Bug 442365] New: Created templates don't account for vectors resized from image rescaling, malforming them

2021-09-12 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442365

Bug ID: 442365
Summary: Created templates don't account for vectors resized
from image rescaling, malforming them
   Product: krita
   Version: 5.0.0-beta1
  Platform: Appimage
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Tools/Vector
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: tomtomtomreportin...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
This bug is sad as it's destructive. Created templates don't properly account
vector objects being resized by image rescaling operations, meaning that the
actual created template will provide malformed vectors instead of what was
intended.

Not a regression of Krita 5.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create A5 600 PPI document.
2. Add a vector layer.
3. Create a vector rectangle serving as the document's margins.
4. Image -> Scale Image to New Size, for example 1000x1414.
5. File -> Create Template from Image.
6. Open new template, which also has a seemingly correct preview.

OBSERVED RESULT
Sadness. The rectangle now spills out of the image.

EXPECTED RESULT
The vector rectangle should still be essentially serving as a margin.

I have 3 screens: 1 laptop display + 2 external monitors. Multiscreen handling
seems to be broken in two noticeable ways:
* Move to screen # is not working, either through the right click menu on the
titlebar or using global shortcuts. The window remains where it was.
* Yakuake's slide-down-on-hotkey feature only works properly when the leftmost
screen (1080p) is active. On the other 2 screens, Yakuake arbitrarily opens
either on the active screen or on the leftmost screen across multiple
invocations. Moreover, it's display area is cutoff when the 1440p screen is
active.

Drkonqui is not triggering and i am not getting dumps shown in coredumpctl, so
i tried with vlagrind.
I killed the plasmashell process and run it with valngrind.

valgrind --log-file=crashlog --track-origins=yes --leak-check=full plasmashell.

Doing this triggered drkonqui, so this log may not be useful, then i turned off

Doing this kills the valgrind process and i get this on the konsole :

platforms/drm: correct property blob handling

If a property blob got created by another drm master we can't rely on
re-using it, so create a new blob of our own with the data copied over
when the kernel destroys it.
Also free property blob objects when we don't need them anymore.

[kwin] [Bug 439405] Plasma panel remains visible when I activate full screen mode of apps running natively on Wayland

2021-09-12 Thread Eduardo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439405

I'm affected. I think it is in someway by apps running XWayland going full
screen. The XWayland apps themselves are always able to go fullscreen just
fine, but they sometimes trigger the bugged state for the native Wayland apps.

Ex: open both VLC (XWayland) and a native Wayland app (Gwenview). Watch a video
on VLC on full screen for some seconds... exit full screen but leave VLC open,
and try to put the Wayland app on full screen: it will sometimes trigger the
bug, sometimes not. If I insist on trying this recipe, it will surely trigger
the bug eventually. Once triggered, the bug consistently keeps happening every
time the Wayland goes full screen, but immediately stops happening when I
simply minimize VLC.

[plasmashell] [Bug 442359] New: Visual Change: Consider Balancing Spacing in Menu by Using 2/3 Sizing

2021-09-12 Thread Andres Betts
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442359

Bug ID: 442359
Summary: Visual Change: Consider Balancing Spacing in Menu by
Using 2/3 Sizing
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: git-master
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)
  Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Reporter: anditosan1...@gmail.com
CC: mikel5...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

The new menu appears tight on the right hand side. It seems it is almost as
wide as the item list with the categories. Consider using the 2/3 rule where
the right hand side of the menu is 2/3 of the list area.

This is a good rule of thumb to balance UIs and is used in graphic design a lot
for the same purpose. I think that would help the menu feel weighted properly
giving more space where the most important content is located.

[plasmashell] [Bug 442358] New: Consider Show Desktop Button to Minimize Where the Button is Located

2021-09-12 Thread Andres Betts

Bug ID: 442358
Summary: Consider Show Desktop Button to Minimize Where the
Button is Located
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: git-master
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: System Tray
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: anditosan1...@gmail.com
CC: mate...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Currently the minimize effect takes the windows to the top right of the screen
when the user clicks the "Show Desktop" button located at the bottom right of
the screen in the taskbar.

I think it makes more sense to give a good sense of placement to minimize
windows "into" the Show Desktop button and not any other arbitrary location on
the screen.

I think this will help the user understand where the windows went and where
they can get back into the desktop from.

When the mouse goes over a notification and the user moves the pointer in and
out of the notification, the close timer resets making the notification take
longer to disappear than expected. The timer should continue where it stopped.

I've determined that downloading the bundle isn't necessary: This happens with
even default brushes such as Dry Bristles randomly failing to properly load
their patterns on strokes (especially on line/shape tool strokes), and I've
observed one of my own custom brushes having this problem without any
configuration from its default settings.

[krdc] [Bug 442356] New: Restore ability to see both local+remote cursors

2021-09-12 Thread Luke-Jr
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442356

Bug ID: 442356
Summary: Restore ability to see both local+remote cursors
   Product: krdc
   Version: 20.12.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: VNC
  Assignee: uwol...@kde.org
  Reporter: luke-jr+kdeb...@utopios.org
CC: aa...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Prior to v20.12.0, krdc (with Local Cursor enabled) showed a dot cursor
locally, while leaving the remote VNC server to deal with the remote cursor.
This worked nicely.

Now, enabling local cursor extracts the remote cursor shape, and hides it in
the remote view. This has numerous issues:
1) Can't see where the remote cursor is [with Local Cursor enabled]
2) Can't see where the real/local mouse cursor is [with it disabled]
3) Remote cursor shape is used in "View only" mode, even though it doesn't
really make sense (in this case, I expect to see the default cursor locally,
and the remote cursor wherever it remains remotely).
4) As documented, in some cases turning off "Local Cursor" forces a reconnect,
though the server may not accept a new session (eg, x11vnc by default).

Please restore the old behaviour. (Perhaps the new behaviour can remain as an
option if people prefer it.)

Windows Decorations Titlebar Buttons config screen w circled issues

SUMMARY
After upgrading both my systems today, two different Arch distros, Garuda and
EndeavourOS, the Window Decorations/Title Buttons control window is missing all
the buttons accept the 'close window' button. If you add a button by dragging
onto the taskbar, it adds the button, but you can't see it on the bar, nor can
you then remove it. I have multiple minimize buttons on my system's windows
decorations that I can't remove.

I presented this issue on the EndeavourOS forum and one other person saw the
missing buttons in his Window Decoration/Title Button config screen, but he
could move and remove his invisible buttons.

I have removed all theming, setting it back to basic Breeze standard theme,
rebooted, updated system, rebooted. Issue still remains on both systems and
distros.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a button to the Windows Decoration/Titlebar Buttons config screen.
2. Notice you can't see the button, but it appears in every window's
decorations.
3. Try and move over the area where the button should be in config screen but
nothing happens, thus can't remove the button added in step 2.

OBSERVED RESULT
See Attachment

EXPECTED RESULT
To see the buttons, and the ability to remove them.

SUMMARY
When matching transactions, the first one selected should be first shown in the
"Merge Transactions" dialog. This is how it used to work but it stopped most
likely after most recent updates to the functionality.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select 2 transactions that can be matched (i.e. same amount), the older one
first and then the newer one, further down the ledger
2. Click match
3. Click merge

OBSERVED RESULT
The first transaction selected should be shown first in the "Merge Transaction"
dialog, but instead the second one is.

SUMMARY
Certain brushes like brushes from the Mojo bundles can lose their original
pattern after configuring any setting through the brush editor. Reloading the
preset brings the pattern back.

See the bottom of the report for regression information.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download Mojo Moo Ink from https://saeger.art/mojo-moo/bundles by clicking
the Bundle button. Install the bundle.
2. Under the moo ink tag, select moo-zip-cute-06 (first brush).
3. Draw. Observe pattern.
4. Open brush editor and increase diameter by a step. (do not use toolbar
sliders)
5. Draw. Observe pattern.

OBSERVED RESULT
Stroke is completely filled.

EXPECTED RESULT
Stroke should be patterned.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian sid
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.12.11 (Appimage)

The particular brush noted in the reproduction steps does not have this problem
in the released beta 1, however the other zip cute brushes were outright broken
regardless of configuration. As of recent fixes included in the versions noted
at the top, these brushes only break on configuration, with the noted brush now
also having this problem. Using the toolbar sliders doesn't break them.

Actually, I'm sorry, the account that the import should go into does not have a
statement key, the account that it does go into (but shouldn't) has a
statementkey of just 2 spaces.

First, digiKam doesn't touch the root collection folder. digiKam-5.6.0 is very
very old, there is a difference of more than 1300 closed bug reports to the
current version. Such a problem has never been reported. This is definitely a
problem with your filesystem / Linux system. Check your hard drive for
defective. Upload the file.

I think I found an easy way to reproduce this -- just switch the desktop
wallpaper plugin from slideshow (which adds context menu items) -> back to
"Image", and right click the desktop.

It appears the slideshow plugin adds context menu QActions, but there is a
dangling reference to them after the plugin gets cleaned up when it switches
back to "Image".

Hello Nate,
sorry for late reply.
No I don't experience flickering any more. I moved to Intel 2D graphics drivers
(xf86-video-intel) instead of modesetting and I disable panel self refresh,
still when I was in 5.21 series.
If you want I can try to move back to modesetting and see if it flickers again.

The credit cards are from different banks.

All the details in the account info seems correct.

Unfortunately neither bank offers direct connect, so that's not an option to
test.

I will try setting up a new card in KMyMoney and see what happens.

The really weird thing is that I manually select for it to be imported into the
correct account, but it still ends up importing into the wrong account. I guess
it doesn't respect the manual selection.
