I can reliably reproduce it every single time. I've tried it on multiple Mac machines too: one 2018 MacBook Air, a 2017 MacBook Pro, a 2020 MacBook Pro. etc. Oddly enough, if I trigger this bug and then open the tablet tester, my pen strokes register there just fine. I can even click around the UI and it's nice and responsive. But the canvas itself becomes completely unusable. Also none of the suggestions mentioned in various forum posts work for me: - Hitting the escape key - Using CMD+plus and CMD+minus - Using the normal trackpad to "unstick" the zoom - Clicking outside of the canvas/application - Turning off the "touch" features of the tablet so that only my pen will register input I even ended up contacting Wacom and they had a technical support person walk me through tons of debugging steps, none of which worked. But enabling it seemed to have no effect. I have no idea > what that checkbox does. Looking at the code, it seems to store tags in some > "Xmp.digiKam.TagsList" field, which seems unrelated to this. Location Created is in one set of IPTC Geolocation tags (lat, long). Location shown is in a separate set of Geolocation tags. Very few photographs use the later set, but any camera with a GPS, or synced with a GPS track will populate the former. Yes, it would be cool, but. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Open a tag in the left panel (I have a tag set up for each step in my workflow) - it is one of those. 2. Select some of the images and discover that they really are missing IPTC location information. 3. Since this has to be done one image at a time in DigiKam (see bugs about Reverse geocoding not doing it, and templates being completely useless). Use Geosetter to do the reverse geocoding. 4. Now inspect the images in the digikam right panel. 5. Update the database from the metadata for the Album you were working on. 6. Inspect the images in the right panel again. OBSERVED RESULT The reverse GEOCode result is in the file. The reverse GEO code does not appear in the metadata editor. Make a typo in the Digikam Metadata Edit dialog box in the Edit IPTC, Origin panel in the City field (Smyrnat) 2. Try to correct the typo. (Smyrna) 3. No matter what I have tried for saving the corrected data, the incorrect data keeps showing back up. 4. I have tried Apply, and OK, and Next followed by Previous followed by apply. When I hit apply, the incorrect data shows up again. OBSERVED RESULT The typo I am trying to correct keeps popping back up. EXPECTED RESULT The typo would be corrected in all cases listed in step 4 above. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 11 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Note that I am having to do this one image at a time because of a couple of separate bugs. Templates are horribly broken as they insist on doing everything and I have several thousand locations, so templates are useless to me. (There are already bugs written on this - and they have not been fixed in YEARS). I tried doing it directly with ExifTool, and while the information appears in the image, it is refusing to read it into the database and repopulate the data in the right panel or the metadata dialog box. (I will be writing a bug on this shortly.). Reverse Geocoding also does not populate these fields as they should. The art was not picked up from the folders as it was saved as Cover.jpeg (addressed in the linked bug). Still, half of the album art got shown. [dolphin] [Bug 458570] New: Crash when exiting dolphin.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458570 Bug ID: 458570 Summary: Crash when exiting dolphin. Product: dolphin Version: 21.12.2 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: beedellrokejulianlockh...@gmail.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Application: dolphin (21.12.2) Qt Version: 5.15.3 Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Operating System: Linux 5.17.5-300.fc36.x86_64 x86_64 Windowing System: X11 Distribution: Fedora Linux 36 (KDE Plasma) DrKonqi: 5.24.3 [KCrashBackend] -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I was duplicating files from a modification-protected internal NTFS partition to another internal NTFS partition of the same drive that pbviously was possible to modify. - Unusual behavior I noticed: During the previous operation of the host OS, when I allowed the machine to sleep, the screen did not appear subsequently. Consequently, I forcefully reinitialized the machine successfully. However, when the initialization of dolphin that eventually unexpectedly ceased to operate / crashed was initialized, enablement of the menubar caused it to disappear, whereas disablement caused it to appear. This demonstrated corruption of the configuration within memory, so I reinitalized dolphin, and drkonqi appeared immediately. - Custom settings of the application: What was described within the previous section. The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible. -- Backtrace: Application: Dolphin (dolphin), signal: Segmentation fault [KCrash Handler] #4 0x7f989171120a in KJobWidgets::window(KJob*) () from /lib64/libKF5JobWidgets.so.5 #5 0x7f9891825cf1 in KIO::WidgetsAskUserActionHandler::askUserRename(KJob*, QString const&, QUrl const&, QUrl const&, QFlags, unsigned long long, unsigned long long, QDateTime const&, QDateTime const&, QDateTime const&, QDateTime const&) () from /lib64/libKF5KIOWidgets.so.5 #6 0x7f98915a1830 in KIO::CopyJob::slotResult(KJob*) () from /lib64/libKF5KIOCore.so.5 #7 0x7f988fc77726 in void doActivate(QObject*, int, void**) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #8 0x7f9890dffb69 in KJob::result(KJob*, KJob::QPrivateSignal) () from /lib64/libKF5CoreAddons.so.5 #9 0x7f9890e03fab in KJob::finishJob(bool) () from /lib64/libKF5CoreAddons.so.5 #10 0x7f988fc77726 in void doActivate(QObject*, int, void**) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #11 0x7f98915c10e0 in KIO::SlaveInterface::dispatch(int, QByteArray const&) () from /lib64/libKF5KIOCore.so.5 #12 0x7f98915ba5aa in KIO::SlaveInterface::dispatch() () from /lib64/libKF5KIOCore.so.5 #13 0x7f98915bde31 in KIO::Slave::gotInput() () from /lib64/libKF5KIOCore.so.5 #14 0x7f988fc77726 in void doActivate(QObject*, int, void**) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #15 0x7f988fc6e182 in QObject::event(QEvent*) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #16 0x7f98907d9c22 in QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper(QObject*, QEvent*) () from /lib64/libQt5Widgets.so.5 #17 0x7f988fc44118 in QCoreApplication::notifyInternal2(QObject*, QEvent*) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #18 0x7f988fc47474 in QCoreApplicationPrivate::sendPostedEvents(QObject*, int, QThreadData*) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #19 0x7f988fc95197 in postEventSourceDispatch(_GSource*, int (*)(void*), void*) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #20 0x7f988d8acf4f in g_main_context_dispatch () from /lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #21 0x7f988d902168 in g_main_context_iterate.constprop () from /lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #22 0x7f988d8aa8e0 in g_main_context_iteration () from /lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 #23 0x7f988fc94c8a in QEventDispatcherGlib::processEvents(QFlags) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #24 0x7f988fc42b7a in QEventLoop::exec(QFlags) () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #25 0x7f988fc4ac22 in QCoreApplication::exec() () from /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5 #26 0x56367585c71d in main () [Inferior 1 (process 2298) detached] The reporter indicates this bug may be a duplicate of or related to bug 440385, bug 408350.
