[krita] [Bug 462879] New: Krita doesn't switch and makes newly imported layer active when importing via menu or drag and drop [git 9ba7789]
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462879 Bug ID: 462879 Summary: Krita doesn't switch and makes newly imported layer active when importing via menu or drag and drop [git 9ba7789] Classification: Applications Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Layer Stack Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: ra...@raghukamath.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY This is most probably a side effect of the new check-box feature added in the layer docker. When the user imports a new layer krita doesn't switch active layer to the newly imported layer. user has to click on it again to activate it. Generally when people import a new layer they intend to move it or transform it or perform other operations on it. So it is ideal to have the newly imported layer to become automatically active. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open krita from the nightly build and create a new document 2. Import a layer either via Layer > Import/Export > Import layer or drag and drop an image 3. Notice the new layer is not automatically selected and active -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Only the first text copied in some apps is shown in clipboard history. The clipboard itself works properly. "Some apps" seems to be GTK, tested in Firefox, Inkscape and Flatseal. However, working with keyboard shortcuts here leads to this confusing situation. The focus glues to the find field when opening the Annotations toolbar and trying to activate a particular annotation tool by clicking one of the numbers 1-9 assigned to different tools. As a result one no longer finds the text pattern one searches for nor does one gets the tool activated, leading to unexpected mouse action. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open PDF file. 2. Ctrl+F to open Find dialogue, then enter some text. 3. Use keyboard shortcut to open the Annotations toolbar. 4. Click 1–9 intending to select one of the Quick Annotation Tools. OBSERVED RESULT 1. The focus is still in the Find field so that the text '1', '9', etc. is added to the text searched, breaking the text searched for. 2. No Annotation tool is activated. EXPECTED RESULT 1. The focus moves from the Find dialogue to the Annotation toolbar. 2. The appropriate Annotation Tool is activated. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459180 --- Comment #6 from Aleix Pol --- Git commit aadd3306d50031feccae5239bb7cfa99b2302208 by Aleix Pol Gonzalez, on behalf of Nate Graham. Committed on 10/12/2022 at 21:34. Pushed by ngraham into branch 'master'. Re-add autostart This is a partial revert of b1c575ce2338dde54e8a55b36904917598773e05 that brings back autostart for the primary usage mode (i.e. as an onboarding wizard) but in a technically simpler form: - We now use single config file key that encompass both skipping and completing the wizard, which are the same from the perspective of whether we want to autostart it next boot or not. - We now decide whether or not to autostart on the next boot by using an X-KDE-autostart-condition key in the .desktop file, rather than conditionally deleting the autostart file We still need to figure out a way to open the app in upgrade mode following an upgrade to a new major Plasma version. [krita] [Bug 461975] Broken EXR and TIFF when exporting from some color spaces
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461975 --- Comment #8 from amyspark --- (In reply to amyspark from comment #2) > [BUG] I was able to consistently reproduce the latter error with your files, > but only when not flattening the files. Something's failing inside LibTiff > and not in our code. I'll try and debug it on my end. We recently changed the code so that all file accesses went through Qt, in order to support Android's content URLs. We had not noticed that LibTiff actually requires simultaneously read and write mode to save multi-page TIFFs, so we set it as write-only. I'll clean up the code while at it, as it'll help be more maintainable long-term. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
