[kde] [Bug 467596] New: Doesnt Play both audio tracks during playback
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=467596 Bug ID: 467596 Summary: Doesnt Play both audio tracks during playback Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: lil.m...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. record a clip with mic and desktop audio separated (captured on obs) 2. load in your clip that has 2 audio tracks 3. preview it, it only plays desktop audio. Note: this is only for previewing it, if the clip is in the timeline it will play both audio's correctly through the timeline playback. This if frustrating when trimming clips because some clips context comes through the mic audio. OBSERVED RESULT Only hearing desktop audio when previewing a clip EXPECTED RESULT Hearing both desktop and mic audio when previewing a clip SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Drag & Drop does not work and the only option I found is to first add a folder to locations in dolphin and then find the location in kickoff and select add to favorites. I would have expected that either Drag & Drop would work, there were a context menu in kickoff with the right option or the context menu on a folder in dolphin should offer add to favorites. It does offer a "add to activity" option, which does not add it to the favorites in the menu. If there is an easier option, it is hard to find and the UX could be improved by adding more obvious ways. I think supporting Drag & Drop would be a good thing. [kde] [Bug 467582] New: GTK windows stop working after resuming session
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=467582 Bug ID: 467582 Summary: GTK windows stop working after resuming session Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 157427 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=157427=edit gtk_window_is_cut_off SUMMARY Once plasma reaches the point of turning off the screen, if I resume the session, GTK apps apps will not be usable anymore until closed and launched again, as they become a static picture of their top-left corner put on top of a black background and don't react to input (see attached picture). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch some GTK app like sublime or evolution. 2. Go away for half an hour so that plasma would lock the screen, then turn it off automatically (or however the next thing it does is called). 3. Resume the session by pressing some key and re-entering your user password. OBSERVED RESULT All or most windows of GTK apps now become static (they have a fixed picture). The top-left corner of the window will have a snapshot of whatever was there before the screen got locked, while the rest turns into a black patch. if the lockscreen showed the music player controls, those will keep being shown over the black patch at the top-right corner where they would show on the lock screen. Sometimes, if there are many windows of the same app open, some random window might survive this and return usable like QT windows do. EXPECTED RESULT All apps should resume normally. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406819 Lionel changed: What|Removed |Added CC||lionelpe...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Lionel --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > The issue is in KIO since the KURLNavigator is a generic KIO component. The code of KURLNavigatorButton is written to open the menu on drag (in dragMoveEvent function, test if "isAbovedArrow"). I could see two ways to correct this bug: - modify the KURLNavigator code to change the drag behavior to avoid the menu opening -> will have side effect on other user of the class (I don't have the visibility to evaluate the impact) - modify the DolphinUrlNavigator to filter the drag events and not cascade them to upper class (KURLNavigator) By default, I would recommend the second approach, but there is perhaps other ways I don't think of. [kwin] [Bug 467571] New: Native showscreen / wshowkeys for Plasma Wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=467571 Bug ID: 467571 Summary: Native showscreen / wshowkeys for Plasma Wayland Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: effects-various Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Showscreen and wshowkeys are two applications to display the current typed characters as an overlay on the screen, which is useful if you want to demonstrate something which involves inputs to someone else e.g. via a video. Unfortunately showscreen only runs under X and wshowkeys is no longer actively maintained or developed.
