[gwenview] [Bug 471404] Support the display of PNG parameters
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471404 Rex Lee <726494...@qq.com> changed: What|Removed |Added CC||726494...@qq.com --- Comment #1 from Rex Lee <726494...@qq.com> --- Created attachment 160618 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160618=edit This image is the original, the png image corresponding to the UserComment is garbled The images generated by stable diffusion come with a message that is prompted at the time of generation, which is stored in the image's metadata. When I use it to view the information about the images generated by stable diffusion, the UserComment under Exit is garbled, while in ExitTool it is displayed normally, and the software becomes very laggy and can only be recovered by restarting. I set different options but none of them work. I hope you guys can fix this bug or tell me how to set it up. More and more people are using Stable diffusion and many need to manage the large number of images generated, which I think is important. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Currently we are required to manually `menuDialog.close()` at the end of the action's `onTriggered` signal, like this: Kirigami.Action { id: myAction onTriggered: { myFunc(); menuDialog.close() } } The problem with this is it means we cannot use this action in other contexts. For example we may want a Kirigami.MenuDialog on mobile devices and a QQC2.Menu on desktop. I should be able to just plug the same action into both components, but instead I have to define two near-identical actions to deal with MenuDialog. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. [kded-appmenu] [Bug 454418] Davinci resolve no menu bar or global menu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454418 Evert Vorster changed: What|Removed |Added CC||evors...@protonmail.com --- Comment #2 from Evert Vorster --- Yes, this is an issue, and there is a need to be able to disable the appmenu daemon for specific applications. Here is an interesting Reddit Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/vs62i0/comment/if3u9hn/?utm_source=reddit_medium=web2x=3 Putting this into action for my pain point which is OBS studio under Wayland, I wrote this little script: ``` [evert@Evert scripts]$ cat obs_script #!/bin/bash qdbus org.kde.kded5 /kded org.kde.kded5.loadModule "appmenu" obs & qdbus org.kde.kded5 /kded org.kde.kded5.unloadModule "appmenu" ``` I made the script executable with chmod a+x [script_name] Then I edit the application in the start menu to point to the script rather than the application. For Davinci something similar might do the trick. Obviously, having to hack together scripts is less than ideal. A proper fix would be to be able to enable the appmenu daemon for certain applications through the UI. The logical place for this would have to be the "More Actions" menu that you get when right-clicking on an open application's icon in it's titlebar. (The name for which escapes me now) I'll attach a screenshot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This works on Kubuntu, and debian with Plasma desktop. The problem is that Mullvad VPN is stored in /opt/"Mullvad VPN" and autostart apparently is ignoring the quotes. Mullvad VPN starts fine when started by clicking the desktop icon. The logfile that I have attached shows that /opt/Mullvad could not be found. My .config/autostart file contains the desktop file which contains the following line Exec="/opt/Mullvad VPN/mullvad-vpn" %U. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to autostart Mullvad VPN 2. 3. [kgeotag] [Bug 472777] map panel remains blank
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472777 Tobias Leupold changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |DOWNSTREAM Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED --- Comment #2 from Tobias Leupold --- I never used Ubuntu, so I simply setup a "blank" Ubuntu 22.04 LTS virtual machine to try it out. I couldn't install kgeotag using the default package repos, so I suppose it's not yet official part of Ubuntu 22.04. Thus, I compiled it from git. I had to install the following packages: cmake build-essential extra-cmake-modules qtbase5-dev libkf5coreaddons-dev libkf5i18n-dev libkf5xmlgui-dev libkf5crash-dev libkf5doctools-dev libkf5kexiv2-dev libmarble-dev After that, I could compile and install kgeotag without a problem. Also, the map is shown as expected. Thus, this seems to be a packaging problem. Please contact the package maintainer about this, this is not an upstream bug! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

ORIGINALFILENAME ...Failed to save item... There actually seems to be many places where to adjust filenames: i) Queue settings -> Behavior, ii) Tool settings -> Output file type, iii) and possibly within code too?? #2) I tried to install digikam source code via kdesrc-build but some dependency couldn't be installed (and installer for some reason tries to use home directory where I don't have enough space). [tellico] [Bug 472778] New: Relative file URL generating incorrectly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472778 Bug ID: 472778 Summary: Relative file URL generating incorrectly Classification: Applications Product: tellico Version: 3.5.1 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ro...@periapsis.org Reporter: agentrebo...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY After creating a new URL field with relative set to true, any URLs which may be added end up not working when moving the directory to a different location. The link will change and be mostly correct, however it will remove the folder which the Tellico file is contained within from the path which makes it not work. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a folder named "Test". 2. Place some kind of file inside of the "Test" folder, such as an image. Name it "Testfile". 3. Open Tellico and create a new custom collection. Save it into the "Test" folder under the name "TestCollection". 4. In this collection, create a URL field named "URL" and set property "relative" to "true". 5. Create a new entry titled "Test", and link the URL field to the "Testfile" file in the same folder. 6. Now that the URL is linking to the file correctly, save and exit Tellico. 7. Exit the "Test" folder and create a new folder within the same location. Title the new folder "MoveTestHere". 8. Move the "Test" folder into the "MoveTestHere" folder and open the Tellico file to view the URL. OBSERVED RESULT The URL which was set to relative is now altered to fit the change in location, but the "Test" folder which the files are contained within will be excluded from the path, and the URL will no longer function due to this. e.g. The URL which once pointed to "file:///home/*user*/Test/Testfile.png" now points to "file:///home/*user*/MoveTestHere/Testfile.png". (Moving just the files without the "Test" folder to "MoveTestHere" doesn't help either as it then will just exclude "MoveTestHere" from the path instead). EXPECTED RESULT The URL which is set to relative should now have been altered to fit the change in location, and should function as previously. e.g. The URL which once pointed to "file:///home/*user*/Test/Testfile.png" should now point to "file:///home/*user*/MoveTestHere/Test/Testfile.png". [Welcome Center] [Bug 472691] Welcome center buttons don’t look and feel like buttons
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472691 --- Comment #5 from Karl Ove Hufthammer --- Just noticed that the similar buttons in Discover have: – A subtle shadow effect – A ‘coloured background’ effect on hover This makes them feel much more like buttons. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kscreenlocker] [Bug 374890] kscreenlocker_greet freezes with multiscreen setup and blocks unlocking
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374890 aux...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||aux...@gmail.com --- Comment #50 from aux...@gmail.com --- An easy way to unlock the screen if the locker freezes as root is: loginctl unlock-sessions. An issue I've been having for a long time with the locker with a dual monitor setup is that if I try to unlock immediately as it attempts to lock the screen, there is a high probability that the displays will freeze empty, only the mouse cursor will be visible and if I move the mouse cursor to the primary monitor, it will be leaving a trail of mouse cursors behind, which has limited length, i.e. the more I move the mouse, the older parts of the trail are erased. loginctl unlock-sessions does nothing when this occurs, I can only restart the session. I'm not certain it is the same issue as this one, though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[choqok] [Bug 461484] Unable to save unchecked timelines for Mastodon account
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461484 Simon St James changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kdedevel@etotheipiplusone.c ||om --- Comment #5 from Simon St James --- Created attachment 160604 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160604=edit Candidate (partial) fix for the issue See attached patch (diffed from 2c1a1873ac69763b7b82fc0a891b9e16e449901b). This seems to work, but *requires choqok to be restarted before the Timeline Configuration changes properly take effect* i.e. unchecking "Local" via the "Timeline Configuration" will still leave the "Local" timeline being shown (and refreshed with new posts) until Choqok is quit and re-started. If there's interest, I can make this into a pull request. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 467325] bad french date format in tooltip.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=467325 Karl Ove Hufthammer changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@huftis.org --- Comment #5 from Karl Ove Hufthammer --- I have the same problem, but for Norwegian Nynorsk. The weekday and month names are properly localized, but the order and punctuation is wrong (it looks like it uses the US order). Also, note this happens *only* when there’s more than one timezone configured. I’ll attach a screenshot. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure the digital clock to have at least two time zones. In my example (screenshot) I have Oslo and Aden, and I have my regional settings set to Norwegian Nynorsk. 2. Hover over the clock. OBSERVED RESULT A tooltip is shown, and the heading contains a (medium-sized) date, but the date parts are in the wrong order and have the wrong punctuation: la. juli 29 2023 «la.» is the Norwegian Nynorsk abbreviation for «laurdag» (Saturday), and «juli» is the Norwegian Nynorsk month name for July. EXPECTED RESULT For Norwegian Nynorsk, I would expect: la. 29. juli 2023 or (preferably) laurdag 29. juli 2023 (note the . after the day.) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If I only have *one* time zone, the date is displayed correctly (but on two lines), in long form: laurdag 29. juli 2023 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 468836] Dolphin does not cut selected files consistently
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468836 --- Comment #7 from Valeri --- Pretty reliable reproduction steps as well as an error message from 472716: 1. Open Dolphin file manager, preferably from terminal 3. Navigate to /tmp/dolphin_copy_test_src 4. Press Ctrl+A to select all 3000 files in directory 5.
