In Dolphin there is still year 2022, despite several 2023 year releases. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Edit | Filter and filter is displayed bellow list files. 2. Close down Dolphin and reopen it. And Filter row bellow files disappears. OBSERVED RESULT Filter field bellow list files is closed down. EXPECTED RESULT Filter opened/closed state should be remembered through sessions (exit and start of Dolphin). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10, Fedora 38/flatpak ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I think Filter is one of the best features of Dolphin, but reopening it after every session is little bit annoying. It would be fantastic if Filter opened/closed state is remembered through sessions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474443 --- Comment #2 from Jane --- I‘ve tried what the email said but it doesn't solve my problem. The only difference is the val.log name became val..log. What I have experienced includes unexpected "Command" shown in valgrind log file, and more than one pid in valgrind log file etc. 发件人:Paul Floyd 发送时间:09/13/23 13:30:49 收件人:'Jane' 主题:[valgrind] [Bug 474443] run valgrind with --leak-check=full and --show-leak-kinds=all or without the 2 leak options enfluence error summary. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474443 --- Comment #1 from Paul Floyd --- This looks more like user error than a critical defect to me. When you are using --log-file and --trace-children=yes you should really use %p in the log file name. Otherwise the children will overwrite the log file. Try -log-file=val.%p.log If that doesn't solve your problem then we need more info. Add an attachment with your log files in a tarball so that we can see more clearly what is happening. I'll think about detecting --trace-children and --log-file without a %p and issuing a warning. -- You are receiving this mail because: You reported the bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Once I move the cursor to the upper left corner, it will show all windows as normal. However, if I click on one of the windows, the screen will go black again except the cursor. I think it shouldn't assume any indentation width for this file and instead use the default. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable "Automatically detect file indentation" 2. Open the attached file OBSERVED RESULT Kate automatically sets indentation to 7. Shows "Soft Tabs: 7 (4)" in the status bar. EXPECTED RESULT Kate uses standard indentation, i.e. 4. Even though the file ends with many lines which seem to suggest an indentation of 7, there are many other lines which suggest indentations of 4, 12, 32. I think, in case of an indentation histogram with multiple peaks without a common divisor, Kate shouldn't assume a non-standard indentation. Or it should switch from fixed width indentation to "smart indentation" (i.e. indentation based on the next non-empty line above the cursor). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I first tried to netcat from the phone (which I did not before and it failed). I was looking if there is a firewall in between: - Calyx has a OS included one but KDE Connect is allowed there - I was not aware that PureOS has one (as e.g. stuff like syncthing works seamlessly) - https://forums.puri.sm/t/not-recommended-to-use-a-firewall/9130 Still after I executed: sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-service=kdeconnect sudo firewall-cmd --reload The netcat from Handy to Laptop showed 1716 and 1717 as successful. Crazy thing than was that the other way around did not show any port as succeeded anymore. Anyway the phone connected then and the rest works as expected. [systemsettings] [Bug 471919] Make Window/Program effects easier to discover
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471919 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |INTENTIONAL CC||n...@kde.org --- Comment #1 from Nate Graham --- Window Rules are considered an advanced feature and can be used to break your system if you're not careful. As such, the interface to get to them is intentionally not placed somewhere people can easily find it randomly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 472026] Firefox panel icon disappears with Snap updates.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472026 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REOPENED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #5 from Nate Graham --- As the bot said, Plasma 5.24 is no longer supported by KDE. This is KDE's bug tracker, not Kubuntu's bug tracker. So it tracks when issues are fixed in KDE code, not when the fix is rolled out to users of the latest Kubuntu LTS version. Assuming I'm correct that this issue is fixed, then RESOLVED FIXED is appropriate since the issue is fixed in our code, it's just not fixed in the version of Plasma that you're using. It's your choice if you want to use a distro that ships software releases that are older than what KDE offers support for. That LTS designation came from Kubuntu, not us. It just means you need to ask for support from them. If tihs explanation is not satisfying, I'd recommend reading see https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting#Understand_what_the_resolution_statuses_mean -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 471969] System Tray applet is not automatically closing on focus loss

Some questions for debugging purposes: 1. Does it happen in the Wayland session too, or only on X11? 2. How many screens do you have connected when this happens? 3. Are you using a non-default window activation policy (e.g. focus follows mouse)? 4. Are you using any 3rd-party themes, scripts, or KWin effects? 5. Are you using any window rules? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472026 Little Girl changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #4 from Little Girl --- Then I take it that this won't be fixed. 22.10 is not an LTS, so it's not a solution for an LTS issue. Since WONTFIX isn't a status option, since the FIXED status that you chose isn't accurate (the issue that I reported above is broken in the current Kubuntu LTS), and since the bot and you both seem to want to close this report out without doing anything about it, INTENTIONAL status is more accurate. I am not allowed to choose that status, so please choose it on my behalf. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=470234 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added CC||n...@kde.org Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED --- Comment #2 from Nate Graham --- This is the same as the old version of Spectacle. If you configured it to use "last used capture method" and the last-used capture method was Rectangular Region, the next time you launched Spectacle it would open the Rectangular Region selector. The way you would get back to the viewer window was to accept the screenshot. And the new version of Spectacle does the same thing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
