While reverting the font change I've found a simpler way to reproduce:

1. kmail --composer
2. Type a view chars in the 'To:' line edit
3. Set the 'General' font in system settings from 10 pt to 11pt and apply
-> 'delete' icons in the composer window is pixalated and too big.

Changing font size back to 10 pt 'fixes' the pixalation.

Bug ID: 370947
Summary: line edits 'delete' icon too big and pixalated with
bigger von fonts settings (11 instead 10pt). Uncovers
a second icon below
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: a...@mpe.mpg.de

My fonts are all + 1pt compared the default. Now the quick search line edit
above message list and
e.g. address fields in the composer show a IMHO unproportional big icon that is
pixaled (see screenshot).

Further in the quick search line edit one sees below the pixalated delete icons
the right parts of the normal sized delete icons

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Quit kmail
2. open fonts in system settings
3. set all fonts size to 11 (alternatively add 1pt to each fonts size)
4. start kmail.
5a. type some text in the quick search like edit
5b. open composer and start typing an address

Actual Results:
An pixalated (oversized) delete icons appear on the right of the line edit.

Expected Results:
a) Icons is not pixalated
b) Icons size should be a bit smaller (ditto for the sharp icons and the lock
icon)

I had a quick look at ohter apps:

kate open dialog: delete icons sharp and unchanged with 11pt compared to 10
ptle
konsole change tab text dialog: too big and pixalated like kmail composer

When I click on a dialog in the 'window under cursor' mode I expect that
spectable only makes a screenshot of the dialog and ignores e.g. the main
window of the application.

>From solution description of bug 369330 it looks like this was intended, but at
least I don't think that is what a user expects from an action labeled 'window
under cursor. At least I didn't.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

2. open file dialog with Ctrl-o
3. Start spectacle and select 'window under cursor'
4. Click on the kate open file dialog

Actual Results:
I get a screenshot of the dialog + kates main window

Expected Results:
I get a screenshot of the dialog only, because that's the window I've clicked.

When I tried to make a snapshot of dialogs, spectable always captures they
upper left area with the width and height of the dialog. It not capture the
dialog itself.

Reproduceable in virtualbox mit neon pkg from master and PC with 4.7.4

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open kate
2. Ctrl^O to open the 'open file' dialog.
3. Make sure the dialog is not in the upper left corner
4. Start spectable
5. select 'window under cursor' and click on the open file dialog of kate

Actual Results:
spectable makes a screenshot of the upper left aera of the screen with the
dimensions of the dialog (see screenshot)

Expected Results:
spectable makes a screenshot of the dialog

A workaround for the bug is to move the dialog in the upper left corner and
then take the screenshot. :-)

Thx for the cool tools spectacle!

  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

There is
1) the file /etc/xdg/autostart/org.kde.korgac.desktop
2) korgac -session 101a119f1a41c300014747926830020380006_1474798364_653715

This implies that using the korgac RMB menu 'Start reminder deamon at login'
does not work,
because session management still starts korgac

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use RMB Menu of korgac systray icon and disable 'Start reminder daemon at
login
2. logout/login
3. check if korgac is still running

Actual Results:
korg is still running

Expected Results:
korg is not started on login

First: I'm a long time KDE PIM user and *I* can not life without it.
Nevertheless I would prefer korgac autostart=false by default.

My Goal: start akonadi and PIM tools only when needed.
My Rational:
most of my user at work and my familie don't use KDE PIM, nevertheless it's
started by default.
This is also true for neons and kubuntu live ISO session (because xdg
autostart is true by default) which makes also no sense for a life session.

Same with kmail 5.3 (neon dev stable):

Reproduce:
fresh user, 1st kmail startup & 1st IMAP Accout setup ==>

No message view (and mail message view) is shown (see screenshot) .

Changing folders does not help.

Workaround the 1st usage bug: Menu: Go -> Next message ==>
and the message list view and mail message view show up.

Hi Laurent,
I used the 'owncloud' entry in the account wizard (not the owncloud < 5).
Owncloud server is running v8.*

2016-09-23 Thread Achim Bohnet via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369260

Bug ID: 369260
Summary: Owncloud provided calendar colors are not used
   Product: korganizer
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: groupware
  Assignee: korganizer-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: a...@mpe.mpg.de

Owncloud server gives every calendars a color. When the calendars are added to
korganizer, those colors are ignored and other colors are used (looks like
color choice is random).
see screenshot

That's quite confusing when every korganizer on my different installations use
different calendar colors.

Wish: please use the colors provided by the owncloud server.

Achim
P.S. Kalender app in Mac OS X used the server provided color, so the color
information is supplied by caldav.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add an owncloud calendar
2. Compare colors between owncloud web calendar interface
3.

Actual Results:
A different calendar color is used

Expected Results:
korganizer should use the same color as the caldav server

Screenshot of wrong generated path in account creation wizard of owncloud

kaddressbook 5.3.0, kf5 5.26, qt 5.7 (neon dev stable)

Adding an Addressbook -> DAV -> owncloud, the generated path ends 'dav' instead
of 'caldav' and 'carddav' respectely. See attached screenshot.

In kaddressbook 5.1.3 (xenial) it was working properly.

[plasmashell] [Bug 368805] New: Plasma panel ignores vertical size changes of a virtualbox window

2016-09-14 Thread Achim Bohnet via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368805

Bug ID: 368805
Summary: Plasma panel ignores vertical size changes of a
virtualbox window
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: master
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Panel
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: a...@mpe.mpg.de

neon dev unstable (kde git master):
The panel ignores resizing a virtualbox window and stays at the same position
as before.
So it's hidden when height is lower than before or it's no longer at the bottom
if height is increased (see attachment)

neon dev stable (kde 4.7.4+git) it still works: Panel is always at the bottom
of vbox window after resizing it horizontally.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Decrease (or increase) height of vbox window

Actual Results:
Panel is hidden (or no longer at bottom) of vbox window

Expected Results:
Panel sticks at the bottom as before in-/decreasing the height of the vbox
window as it was in 5.7.4 and older releases.

in-/decrease the horizontal vbox window size fixes the wrong position or the
window: panel is again at the botton of the desktop.

I have not tested this case yesterday so I can't tell if it's a regression due
to yesterdays fix of
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368741 or just it's vertical equivalent,
that I've forgotten to test.

* make window wider -> panel does not adapt to new horziontal size
* logout/login -> panel uses again the full horizontal width
* make window wider/shrink -> panel does not adapt to new horziontal size :-(

neon dev unstable (master)
With making the Virtualbox window wider in horizontal direction, the panel does
not expand to maximal width. Panel does not change size and is left aligned.

Windows do not have the problem:
  Start konsole
right-click on maximized button -> window maximzed in horizontal direction
  resize vbox window horizontally
-> konsole follow the bigger width (panel does not :-( )

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
My environment: neon dev unstable (kde git master branch pkgs) in Virtualbox
5.0.24 (host kubuntu xenial)
1. Create a new user login
2. make the Vbox window bigger in horizontal direction.

Actual Results:
Panel does not resize. Is only left aligned

Expected Results:
Panel is still maximised (stays left and right aligned) as in in the last
years.

Windows do not have the problem:
  Start konsole
right-click on maximized button -> window maximzed in horizontal direction
  resize vbox window horizontally
-> konsole follow the bigger width (panel does not :-( )
